.....trading higher time frame does not give rest of mind, knowing what you are doing gives you rest of mind ,if you do not know what you are doing you will still get the margin call ,be it that you trade lower time frame or longer time frame. The only difference is you do bleed slowly with higher time frame, however the outcome will still be the same.

This is another one. Yes you can. Even better. My going back to 1:25 leverage slows me down but it's better as the chances of losing my account to Mc diminishes significantly.
