Please what's the minimum amount for GTB...

Can 100000k fetch me a deal with GTB?
Sure 100M naira should fetch you a great deal with GTB except if that "k" at the back of 0 is kobo and not thousand.

I have been using the i-invest app for my TB because I am abroad and not easy to run the normal TB from here.
Yes the I-invest don't pay upfront interest but rather the interest is re-invested together with your principal to give a higher interest after the tenor matures.
For example you invest 1m for 364days at 14%, your interest should be around 140 k +- , but you realise that you interest will be around 160k, meaning your interest was compounded (your rate becomes about 16%).
It is a good app to invest in when you don't need the interest to use immediately.
Thanks
Since registering with the app around October, i made more than 30 transactions and there is no single problem recorded. I prefer it over banks for the sake of convenience as i get my credit alert in less than an hour whenever i demand liquidation.
There is feeling of gratitude seeing your wealth growing steadily on daily basis.

One question I would like to ask the house about Tbills and of course every other govt borrowing from the public is if truly govt borrow all thse monies to fund projects and execute govt expenditures, how do they get the money back plus the interests to pay the public? To me it seems a lit easy for an individual to invest in tbills. If for example I have say between 20m and 50m, and decide to invest in Tbills. Let's do the calculations, at any rate do I need to work at all again for life? Am still confused.

By using new investors money to settle matured tbills.

They can never repay the money back as that was the reason for rollover. This is done everywhere in the world to control liquidity in the economy, inflation, rates and among others. They are at liberty to print Naira in the worse case scenario. The same thing is playing out in the USA with National debt of $21.9 trillion with GDP of $20.66 trillion as @ Q3'18.
On the 2nd question of having 20M or 50M, if you need to work at all will depend on your living expenses and only YOU can answer that. You achieve financial independence if ROI on your capital can conveniently pay for your liveing expenses for life.

Who own this i-invest app?

All about I-invest App
The I-invest app was launched by Sterling Bank in partnership with Parthian Partners and can be found and downloaded free on Google Play and Apple Store.
The sole aim for which this app was created was to enhance the participation in investing in Treasury bills and to bridge the gap between the per-conception of this method of investment and potential investors.
The I-invest app has also brought treasury bills investment to the doorstep of everyone who is interested in it. You do not need banking officials, no documents or forms to fill and no spending of valuable time in the bank anymore. It is as simple as that; when you think investing in Treasury bills, simply think I-invest app.
For every app, you must be registered to enjoy the features inherent in the app. This is not the case with the I-invest app. I am pleased to inform you that you do not need to register or become an account holder with Sterling Bank to enjoy this app or its service. All you need are your identification card, BVN and a valid phone number and you would be registered.
It is so easy to use that in a little over five (5) minutes, you are all set up and ready to start investing. All of this is done from the comfort of wherever you are through your mobile phone without stress. It accords you the wherewithal to learn and see what you are doing first hand.
Your money is secure and if at any time you feel overwhelmed, you have the choice of simply withdrawing your funds.

Please lets not be quoting 365 days as a tenor. It is 364 days.

[For one year the interest is 280K. But you will need to divide 280K by 365 days and multiply by the number of days you get at the bank (ie tenor) to get your actual interest.
Good luck at the bank].

Thanks for the info. Above is my earlier post you responded to. But I didn't quote 365 days as tenor but only used 365 days to explain how interest is calculated. All the rates quoted both for primary and secondary markets are quoted per annum. To get your actual interest you will still need to divide by 365 days and multiply by the tenor. Even for 364 day tenor, you still need to divide the interest amount by 365 days and multiply by 364 days. I hope this explains to members how interest amount is calculated. There had been many instances here where some members will invest for less than 364 days (such as 91 day or 182 day tenor) and complained of not being paid in full. Always divide by 365 days and multiply by the number of days (tenor) so as to get the correct interest amount.

like i said earlier, when you run into issues then you will know its not sterling bank that owns the app. its convenient to use but upfront is not achieved and compounding is not achieved. its only good for those not in the country, use the banking hall so you can hold somebody accountable and not going to sterling bank branch in your town and they will disown the app, leaving you with one option of travelling to lagos(head office) to sort it out or you take my way and go threatened your bank who will also be firm that the money is not in their coffers and redirect you to sterling. i only old first bank that they connived and rechannel my money as the receiver(Parthian partners) is telling me that they have not seen my money. i told the manager that i will start with social media before he advise one of his officers to lodge a complain against sterling bank with cbn, within 2 days i got a call from Parthian partners apologizing and promising to pay for the 3 weeks they held my money but when money was released the following day it was solely my capital and i moved on after learning my lessons. for me, its a no no

Good evening wise people. I eventually go for 356days at 14.2% from Stanbic. I told the lady to re invest my interest with the principal.
I got alert that 1949966 was removed. I was left with 51681.
How much will I get together at the end of investment.
I need someone to help calculate it.
This is my first time of re invest my interest. I usually take my interest to do other things.
Thank you

I had a similar experience with an Asset Mgt Coy last year and it was not palatable. Since then, I've been doing my top up with their app and it's been stress-free ever since. An alternative way to credit your wallet on i-invest is e-Billspay. This way, your wallet is credited real-time. No turenchi. You can pay via e-Bills from a branch of your bank or via Internet Banking. I hope this helps.
