Forget online review. Even merc had to change the front suspension designs for W204. Note: 203 suspension will fit into 204 but the 204 are aluminum, 203 are steel and aluminium. Why? 202 suspensions are rugged, 203 are shitty due to Benz alliances with Chrysler. 204 are rugged.

VDC compressor in 203 generally are prone to black poisons which contaminates and knock their kompressor.

Engine oil heat cooler is problematic. W203 are notorious for this. 230k inclusive.
I've bought a c230k who's owner used Mobil 1 and that same day, the engine knocked. I kid you not. Many guys experienced same too. Even afangsoup experienced same too.
So you poured afangsoup inside engine grin

but all you listed can be fixed. op maybe you should just do the C320 NA engine. I don't want to be a kill joy, but I will pick a C class over corolla I know this is not your first car

@kingreign, you wan drag me into una discussion and argument.

Well, nurey, that car is a beauty, but its a shame, that car is wahala personified. Engine problems are its problem.

Own a C230k then you'd have an idea. I'm not using nwanneni's as yard stick. I'm using personal experience. Experience of others and what I see around.

Those engines Achilles heels are it's camshaft sensor, intake manifold runner, supercharger wear out and failire and timing chains, and tensioner problems.
lipsrsealed lipsrsealed
Kuku kill me o.....now you wanna make me sell this car after clearing and order a Corolla sport jejeli

Mine is on 107k miles, seats are still clean, no tear yet

Timing chain issues are well documented, yes. Supercharger is a wear and tear issue, however.

This, basically. I'd go with the 2005 C320, it's hands down the best C Class of that generation. Interior facelift with the bulletproof M112.

After all has been said and done, I'm not a big boy like most of y'all.

I think this car would serve me well, considering the fact that, I've been driving a Golf 4 car for almost 7 years with same engine and gear, fans kept running 24/7, bad AC, I've been using 20w50 to service it ;Dmanual gear for that matter and I still love the car.

This one will be well taken cared of especially now that I'm more informed about cars.

Thanks everyone.

Make una park well. The car isn't the most reliable but there are way more unreliable cars on the road. I've seen this C230K with 200k miles on it (no idea if on one engine, though).

Enjoy your car, brother. Maintain it properly. However, if your gut tells you to, now would be the perfect time to sell it off. Then you add use the profit and get something better.

Do as the spirit leads you. The car isn't bad.

Hi All,

I have the option of buying 2008 RX 350 with navigation of 121k Mileage and 2009 RX 350 without navigation of 52k mileage.

Kindly advise if the Navigation really worth it in Nigeria.

Thanks.

I have already paid for it, I'm gathering all these info and reviews just so I could have a very good experience with the car when I start using it.

I have budgeted close to 200k for fixing any issues and parts that might need to be changed once car lands.

My cousin has owned the car, he's full of praises for it, my brother loves the car too much, and I'm not getting a Naija used.

The navigation package doesn't offer only navigation, I believe. Check online to see the other things that come with it. For example, in some cars, it may include things like backup camera, etc.

121k mileage on a 2GR is nothing. Though, tbh, I'd probably buy the one with 52k miles. Do a VIN check, please.

pick the 08 the navigation already tells a tale of higher trim, better options and gadget than the pangolo 09.

It's your money. Take care. I don't condemn Mercedes Benz but I won't wish that engine on my enemy. It is a very useless engine... The type that your 200k will not do any tangible thing on.

Thank you. The issue is I don't know other features of the navigation system. Would love to hear from current users of RX 350.

The only thing that differs is the Navigation system.

Heard the navigation does not work in Nigeria. Hence, have to use my phone to navigate.

Do you know other features of the Navigation system pls?

There is a difference apart from the Nav-screen which you will only notice in usage/test driving both.

sometimes the navigation screen may include some functions like mpg calculation, compass, vehicle information, could also serve as entertainment control etc. Not only map embedded also it would show the reverse camera view and other views from side mirror cam if present.

exterior outlook maybe same but the one with nav especially if factory installed is a higher trim than one without Nav

if you have the vin of both, you can possibly get the trim from it and know what each is packing. I know the difference in ODO is what has you confused.
