My infinix hot 4 lite started hanging and something reboot itself so i formatted the phone last 2 weeks and it started working well again.

I was chatting on facebook yesterday and it suddenly hanged for like 20mins and wen it couldn't came back.

I switched it off and since then, it hasn't come up again (it just stuck at the infinix logo)

I tried to use safe mode to format it but not showing up.

I took it to my engineer friends and they tried to use their system to detect the phone in other to install another firmware but they said it's not accepting any firmware /os.

Now my phone hasn't come up nor does it shut down except when the battery low.


Any ideal what might be wrong please?

there is no difference between infinix hot 1 and infinix hot 2. When infinix hot 2 came out, i compared it with the infinix hot 1 and found out many things. Infinix hot 1 is is much more better than hot 2.

Man i bought this phone about 3 weeks ago and ive been crying ever since. Apart from the fine design (notch) and the speaker this phone is pure bullhsittttt.

I came from infinix hot4 pro so let me state that

The camera is worse than hot4pro esp the front camera. It takes in too much light and alters the true color of the pic u are taking.

The battery didnt meet my expectation. Hot4pro acts waaaay better. Imagine sleeping with data off at 95% and waking up to 87%? Terrible.

Ive been having issues with calls dropping. Most times when i pick a call or make one, i talk for less than 10 secs and it disconnects. I initially thought it was network but it has persisted.

The browsing is slow. Sometimes i have to toggle the data connection to get it to work.

The fingerprint is a tenth of a second slower in pickin and unlocking. I usually pick calls with the fingerprint sensor on my hot4pro,when i try it with this one, i have to try it over and over before the call picks.. If it does.

I dont know why but once u open the gallery the phone increases the brightness to the highest. Its very disturbing at nights when the lights are off.

Dont buy that phone. I repeat. Do not buy this shit. I dont mind selling it right now at 40k.

These are very little faults someone who isnt observant might not even notice but i noticed all.

Im just hoping an update comes soon and helps me out of this situation.

1. The front camera is not that good but it comes out well if you use the auto mode .. Forget the beauty mode

2. My battery seems OK here

3.Call dropping?..Nothing like that here

4. I don't have issue with browsing

5. I don't use fingerprint to pick call, so I don't have idea

6. The unnecessary screen brightness when I switch to gallery can be frustrating especially we that have eye problem..

surprisely,before evening the battery dropped to an unimaginable rate .I thought it was because I didn't charge it after buying.

luckily for me, electricity was restored that night. I plugged it and was able to charge it to 95% before light was taken. this was around 11pm.I left it without pressing though I Left my data on..

By the time I would woke up yesterday,my battery has dropped to 75%..chai! I was highly devasted.I continue with the usage and the battery couldn't take me till afternoon before it went off..Imagine ,I didn't watch movie oo neither do I play games.. Just WhatsApp and shuffling web like nairaland.

Reset app preferences because you have so many apps running at the background, same with adaptive brightness also.

There isn't enough reason for you to conclude that he didn't charge as is required for a new phone and by manufacturer. So now that he is having problem with his unit, the fault is definitely his and he does not have the right to seek help... Besides, he might be a victim of defective unit.

I like what you said in your last paragraph. it is quite unfortunate that most people who condemn these phones have actually not used any of them. Tecno, Infinix, gionee, etc are actually far from the crap some people paint them to be. I'm an HTC fan (currently using m9) but after using infinix note 4 pro, I started believing that sometimes, cheap price does not always translate to cheap quality.

Back to our friend's issue, I read what he typed and from his complaint and explanation, one can see never drained it. If what he said about just inserting his simcard and 'using'is indeed accurate then I'd say that it's more likely he had a defective product.

Here is it; When one buys a new phone, the charge on the battery isn't different from future charges to be held by the same battery. However, such batteries can still be used as long as the first time usage will not end up in battery emptying ( I. e even though u use for first time without charging, you must not drain the battery to 0%) to the point that the phone shuts down due to Low Battery.

Some people's belief: If you use a new battery for the first time without charging it full (3hrs plus) then the battery becomes bad.

In reality: Draining a new battery (to its min charge say 0% as you might imagine it) for the first time without first charging is the problem

In fact, the reason why it is advisable to charge to full capacity for first time use is because of battery calibration. It is assumed that you run a very high chance of draining the battery during that first time use. So you're advised to charge full first before usage.

Bottom line: Don't use your new battery for the first time without first charging it if you know you can't help draining it completely before charging it to full.

From what he typed, seems to me, he didn't drain his battery completely before eventually charging it.

Summary: It's bad to completely drain a new battery because if you do, you might suffer low running times for your battery.

That's not true bro... this is not the first time I've been buying a new phone..I got the techno pouvoir2 mid last year . I start using it without charging and I got no issue with the battery.
