Dolphins are beautiful and harmless.

In the whole of this country, I am not sure there's a resort where people can swim with dolphins.

See how we waste our resources and we still wonder why we are not moving forward.

I was just getting over the Hippo that was killed in Kogi state, this one just weak me.

True, it's so sad my fellow Africans love destroying rather than building.

They killed the goose that could have laid the golden eggs, the money they would have made from this will feed them and their children. Ignorance is a disease.

Disgusting. If these people are really hungry then why don't they eat crickets and locusts? Plenty of good protein there.

A lot of these dolphins are curious, sociable animals and are naturally friendly towards humans and this is how they are treated. The people eating it probably think it is fish meat. Idiots! Human filth.

just see the relieve in the eyes of the butcher and the kids around him, indeed there's hunger in the land

Indeed...and out of that big water this beautiful and extremely friendly and intelligent animal is what they want to eat. Hope it quenches their hunger for life...so sad but this is Nigeria.

Indeed, it is beautiful and intelligent. However it's a mammal, not a fish.

Dolphins are very friendly with humans. They entertain humans and carry out some acrobatic stunts to the delight of fun seekers.

Killing such an amiable creature is akin to commiting sin.

Mr sabi, kindly edit your Nigerians to ipobian pigs, for biologically they are engineered to eat dog meat the most intelligent pet and monkey meat that resemble human beings the most. On Christmas day they eat the dirtiest animal on earth, called pig.

Dolphins are friendly creatures. It could have been playing around them before the captured the play and butchered it.
How are they going to eat it even?

If i say this does not hurt me i will be deceiving myself, for crying out loud that is a dolphin it is a mammal that is almost as intelligent as a human being. well There is hunger in the land and people gats to eat. but this is like eating a fellow human being because you have to eat.

When I read what some supposed literates write here I presumed wrongly, do u know Bayelsans are used to eating most sea creatures? Have u ever stayed in Bayelsa to know there lifestyle, who told u its hunger that makes them eat the dolphins. Na wa o. Illiteracy is really high.

well you just spoke like an angry bayelsa indigene irked that you were branded hungry and ignorant. either that or you are a dolphin eater as well.
whatever the case there are Only 2 reasons the bayelsans eat dolphins as clearly written in the title
1) there is hunger in the land
2) they are ignorant.
