He he, you sef don join. The thing is, Peter and Chibuike are known to have a pattern and no one sees their comment here as a deviation from what they normally post even when mixed with political opinion. The election season will come and go and they'll continue with the themes that prevail at any point in time.

The problem, however, is when you take offense at the posts because you are one these minions paid to oppose any view that is contrary to your paymasters'. The reason why everyone left here was that this place has been infected with the Nigerian virus. If check the pattern of wanajo's posts, there was a time that it shows that he responds to all queries or contributes after close of business everyday. What it means is that, after every day's work, he take the pain to share his knowledge here.

When last did you see Emmanuel here, do you how many times he has been ridiculed here for his call on Wapco? Who dey see Mercy here again, where is passwelle, and the list goes on.

Because some people shared their father's inheritance and some surviving on Mpower's money they think they can attack whoever and run this place down.

Am taking permission from all the people in the house so pardon me to still comment on the cjn saga. I just wish a military guy one day will get crazy and take over! The legislature you mentioned just tell me single thing they have done that affects common man, the judiciary are even the worst , am not a lawyer but was told ignorance is no excuse in the law court and the custodian of the law was saying he forgot to do the right thing! Can I go to a supermarket now and mistakenly take the key of the place and then tell the court that I forgot or it was a mistake. And when it their turn they will say due process must be followed but easily sentence a common man that committed an offense. The executive too is using illegality to begat illegality. Are we
cursed in this country that we can't think rightly again. Is only God that can save us in this country.
Well, as far as this thread is concerned I might be indifferent to the political issues especially on the partisan perspective. But I completely disagree with you on the bolded. Experience, they say, is the best teacher. We started this country as a world class model democracy with a genuinely we the people constiution that provided for all we now ask for through our agitation for restructuring. It was fair and equitable to everyone. But unfortunately just because the politicians were having some normally expected misunderstanding among themselves and were already even trying to shift grounds for one another towards an amicable resolution of it all, some misguided military guys broke in and accusing the politicians of corruption and misgovernance, sacked the democratically elected government, shed so much innocent blood alongside in the name of cleaning the mess, took over the reigns of power illegally, mutilated that beautiful constiution that was already working perfectly, subverted it and caused a constitutional crisis which led to an avoidable war that further took more innocent lives in million folds.
Soldiers are meant to be either in their barracks or at the borders. They have no business in politics because they are not trained with the tolerance, patience, broad-mindedness, compromise, etc which form the hallmarks of political leadership. If military intervention is truly an option, then why couldn't our 35 or so cummulative years of military rule turn Nigeria to a utopia?
If those young idealistic majors had remained in their barracks, the politicians of those days would have eventually resolved themselves and reached a harmonious accord on the way forward. After all that is what happens today hence the saying that there are no permanent friends or enemies but permanent interests. If, when Obasanjo and Atiku were daggers drawn in 2006-2007, some military guys have attacked and killed them for misgovernance, who by now would have believed they would be in the same political camp supporting and endorsing each other by now? Given the impact which the Obasanjo-Atiku administration had creating awareness for stocks investment, a military intervention against their regime would have done great disservice to NSE thus we perhaps wouldn't have been here now. Military rule contributed largely to the very slow rate at which the stock market developed from Independence to 1999. This is not to say I am an overall fan of the Obasanjo-Atiku administration anyway.
The greatest and most advanced democracies we have today were never punctuated by military intervention.
Soldiers are like security men employed by a household. So because a husband and wife (the natural and rightful leaders of the home are having differences) their children begin to wish that the security man kills them both or chases them away from the house and takes over parental position over them?

Will NSE Index behave like Diamond Stock?
After forcing many shareholders to sell their holdings in panic, Diamond stock rallied from a low at 0.66 to a high at 2.39 within a space of 2 weeks. This happened after Diamond broke a long time support located at 1.08. As that was not enough, it later created a lower low signalling that all may not be well with the stock. But all of a sudden, gbam! we saw a rejection candle, a higher - high and and and over 200% increase.

Just looking at the NSE index, I noticed it just broke a long term support; fell a bit and for the past 7 trading days, it's been bull upon bull. Now, I am wondering, could this be Diamond in the making? If yes, then I need the index to create a "high" or break exiting swing high at around 32000 and then we could have Diamond bank behaviour in the making. If I didn't see these features, then, I want to stay aside...

In truth, politics can't be ostracised from stock investing because its a major risk factor that can't be ignored...However, posting of political news and views on this platform will derail the objective of this thread. The fact is everybody feels the urge to post such news here but ability to refrain oneself is the epitome and hallmark of maturity...so to maintain the sanctity of this forum and avoid vituperous attacks on people's personality let's respect ourselves by NOT talking politics... A little deviation.......

The masses are usually led to forget fundamentals, thats why the black Nation is where it is today,Europe and the Caucasian race became what It is today because the environment there forced them to make things work, If things dont work People die in their droves, rewind back to the middle ages, U will see that a community that does not gather wheat in summer and make bread or sauerkraut will surely die off in winter, the environment forced them to always prepare for winter, The system works in the Europe because Things dont work mass extinction might be staring a people in the face.............

Now coming down to Africa,,, especially sub saharan Africa, the fundamentals is different, U see food is so plentiful you can move around the forest or savannah andd find enough to eat, you actually dont need to store anything as this is a waste of time, the biggest problems in Africa is escaping Preditors, from Lions to pythons to Aligators, there is something waiting to make meal out of the African man, the best Solution that came up to ensure survival was Kinship, It is near imposible to survive generation after generation in wild africa as a solitary human.

The environment mainly selected for competence in Europe while the environment in Africa selected for Kinship..........

Everybody is just flaring emotions up and down.......How many people can say that If his desired candidate wins that there will be better education for his kids.....How many people are assured that affordable housing is assured come next 4 years

Mr Peterichy , Chibuking, Jonathan, Jonadulll et al.........How many of you is sure of paying lesser school fees for your children or house rent come next dispensation......We all know that what goes up can never come down in Africa, So I ask you guys again, can the price of rice ever come down again to #5000....

Abeg make we no abuse ourselves on this thread, we are grown men........Election has never been about us the masses

The market will surprise some of us !!
That's why its called the stock market. ...it is part of what makes for its dynamism.
I sincerely hope it won't leave some of us behind.

CAVEAT: NOT an investment advise. Before u act on or react to this, pls do well to read thru my signature below !!

Cheers.
Chibuking81:

And surprise might go front or back. NSE is inside Nigeria, and Nigeria good news affect the stock positively, likewise bad news affect the stock negatively.

We are just noticing Judiciary coup, in one out of 3 arms of government, which is bad news. Which will likely affect the market.
Chibuking81:

Tension has started unfolding.
Mr president has started the process of bear returning to the market next week with full force.
Chibuking81:

This singular act will have a negative effect in NSE, starting from next week. This is adding fuel in the existing fire.
Chibuking81:

Next week Friday is 1st February, been election month. Bull just have tomorrow and part of next week.

Those yet to take position will be opportune to take better position starting from February month. January has presented its own bonanza in the first and second week. February will also give out its own bonanza.
Chibuking81:
For those that miss January offer, they should not panic, because February bonanza offer is on the way, the current bull is preparing ground for the main February bonanza.
Chibuking81:
Election bear must come in the month of February, we should not rule out market manipulations. Those remaining foreign investors who want to bail out. Massive bear will close the market.

Alright dear.
But if u do believe in surprises and know that things could go either way, then u wouldn't use such lines of certainty as those in many of ur post in the past.
Mr Market will always have a mind of its own. ...that's what makes it uniquely dynamic.
U have to try and understand that path.
Just like u are often inclined to been unduly pessimistic, I also use to be an overly optimistic person. ...until I learnt the need to work to strike a proper balance in between.
Perhaps these NUGGETS which I wrote after learning from them, might also be of some benefit to u;

"If u desire to EXCEL in the Stock Market, then don't just be an optimist or a pessimist. ...be BOTH.
...then WORK to strike a proper BALANCE between the 2.
Unless of course u wish to receive less and give up much more when u least expect it."
~Sinclair

"Between uncertainties, difficulties and failures is the many 'gift packs' from the stock market.
...and inside those 'gifts' are smaller 'packs' with obstacles but which are sealed with CRAFT.
Yet, down inside are even more 'packs' of OPPORTUNITY."
~Sinclair

"If u desire to WIN more 'open battles' with the stock market, then NEVER work to PLAY AHEAD of it or seek to TIME It.
...work to PLAY ALONG with it and seek to better ur playing STRATEGY.
Unless of course u wish for a far less win than normal."
~Sinclair

"To find out if u can SUCCEED more in the stock market,1st find out if u have the RIGHT TOOLS that can navigate through the worst of times and which can stand the test of time.
...otherwise, go and 'buy' it."
~Sinclair

"When the stock market request for 'a drink' from u, give to it but ONLY if its a sound but cheap one.
...and when it offers u 'a drink', take a sip, then drink a bit more but try NOT to get intoxicated.
It's a great way to benefit more from 'him' over TIME."
~Sinclair

Again I will advise u to look out for FUNDAMENTALLY sound underpriced coys and key in in line with ur investment goal. ...so u won't be left behind !!

Do have a lovely week ahead my dear !!
Cheers.
