That is the thing, the distribution is not even 100% privatized. How would you privatize and still accept to be responsible for meter provision?

Now the thing is that the government are saying it is the job of the companies to provide meters while the companies are saying it is the job of the government.

In a complete privatization, the electric companies are supposed to provide metres like the way gotv provides decoders for their clients. But no. Now in Delta state people have money but there have been no meter in BEDC for over a year.

Second privatization error is the fact that they zone the licences so electric companies can operate only in specific zones. Let them make it open, so that abouth 3 companies can be in every state at every time. If I don't like your service I simply change my card like I would do a simcard in a phone. You will see the rate at which these companies will sit up.

Finally they need to privatize the generation itself, let companies generate power with what best suits them. Q state like yobe can generate power from solar instead. This will ensure optimization and productivity.

As for the property, I would try to give it tomorrow, the guy has slept. But I can tell you now it is a federal property. That is what the company is into, buying and selling of properties. And they have been in business for a while
