Dear Marvel, how are you doing? In your previous post, you said the key stockholders in petroleum industry are having summit in Abuja this week and as such nothing will happen this week from DPR. I believe DPR mgt are part of the stockholders too.

In your last post, you also mentioned that the final list is being reviewed by mgt. I am a bit confused. Plz clarify. Thanks for your info as usual.

Not everybody in the management would be in the summit. Only those whose functions are related to the summit. The key management can just be at the summit on the first day and after that, the summit would continue with other relevant staff.

The way DPR is handling this recruitment is irritating and nothing to write home about. Election is on 16th, if peradventure there is changing in government then the new administration or the new director of DPR will nullify the recruitment and bring his own slots in.

Director was represented by the Head, Upstream & Monitoring Regulation, Amadasu Enorense @ the summit.

So surprise that people are still on this thread hoping to be call upon to pick up their appointment letters soon.

I have move on since over 7 month ago.

Last two weeks, my elder sister sent me the phone number of one Army Colonel from my village to call if the man can help out in this recruitment but I told her that everything is gone, that they have already concluded everything about the recruitment.

I never even thought of coming here to check. I was just scrolling through nairaland today only to see this thread highlighting new comments so I decided to open it.

Lol. Very typical, I am sure you don’t have any issue with the scraps about to be handed over to Team-merit as long as you are selected right.

Even if it is just one per state, you are now going to call on the all benevolent Allah to favor you over 100+ people that scored an average of 90 from your state right.

It doesn’t even matter if 600 out of 700 slots were given to some people that have issues knowing when to use “eat” and “ate”, “there” and “their”. So far you are the only merit candidate selected right.
