[You see, one thing I've learnt to always do is self-evaluation at critical stages of life.
When you evaluate your experience then you can draw lessons and take a look at the mistakes you made and be sure not to repeat them.

Now, relationships.......

I know I'm treading murky waters, but really the realization hit me yesterday; what did I really learn from my past relationship?

I began to take a journey down memory lane and started making mental notes and I realised a few things. This could help someone, here we go:

1)Don't build your life around someone, that because of that one person you have issues with all your friends

2)Beware of a guy/lady who can't make decisions themselves and are being told what to do by a "mentor", "spiritual father" or maybe even a "friend" they are not matured enough for a relationship.relationship.

3)Family first always, anyone can leave you but family would never leave you. All that money you're spending on her or him doesn't gurantee anything.

4)Always trust your instincts, don't ignore red flags. Observe

5)Don't do what you're supposed to be doing for a wife to a girlfriend and vice versa. Always have limits and principles. It will save you lots of regrets

Human is human, being original and sincere rocks. No one is perfect or entirely evil, hence there is no need for trust or suspicion. We must learn to love our partners like we love oxygen.

I wouldn't say we should love our spouse like oxygen but I would say don't trust with all your heart. If you end up with a broken relationship they will tell your deep secrets no matter what. My ex GF told my mom I smoke M.J after we broke up. Something I kept from my mom for years.

let me rephrase, don't love with all your heart, always be ready to adjust your expectation at any given time. Leave a space in your heart and life to fall back on in case the rest are chattered. I am and will always be an advocate of one at a time
