When did you go to Abuja?

If I tell people living in Lagos that they are Animals, people don't believe me. People who live in Lagos have their life span reduced by 11% in total before their actual death.

Just Abuja and you experienced Environment shock. Imagine leaving the country for 6 months.
A whole 11%...

I may just agree with you because the air pollution is getting to me

I first heard about Big Brother back in the late 1990's...when the thing was the rage in European countries.

To be honest, I did not get the concept of the show. It sounded like a big waste of time. Not even the 'you will win millions' carrot attracted me.

Then in 2002...Big Brother Africa came around. That was the one where we had reps from all over Africa, with one Naija guy called Bayo. Was in university then. My mates were all excited about the show...me I was like 'What'?

And honestly, I am not moved till today.

As for why there are crowds. Last time, Efe won 25million naira. Just like that. No need to hustle, etc. Yes, everyone says God blesses legit hustle, but it costs a lot of suffering to get there.(and sometimes, it takes years before someone earns a decent salary after graduatiion). Who no want good thing. And those who did not win are all on Instagram, etc...posing with cool pictures, etc....

Even if government gives everyone jobs....people will still be there.

The problem is easy money. Easy money.
I couldn't have said it better

number 1 Rule of surviving a stampede situation is stay far away! if you are already there and everybody is running, stand by the wall, pole or something till they stop rushing, if you are already caught up in the middle of the crowd and someone step on your expensive sandal and one fell off, choose between your life and your sandal , because any attempt to bend down to pick it can result to your death because people will push you down, and ones you are down, people will start stepping on you before they even realize someone is down on the floor!

stay away ! stay at home!!

From the look of things, it seems the auditioning is even more interesting than the 3months show itself.

Jeez, so much enjoyed reading this nigga's script, read it with keen interest.
Exaggerated or not, the tory just belike 'mission impossible' movie, the thing sweet my ballscheesy

But in any case, that's what we get as a nation who has now totally relegated education to the slums and has now hopelessly dignified unproductive shows/ventures that will so on the long run make us lag behind in the pecking order of progressive nations with sense.

Campaigns all over the place today, bbn auditions has taken over, but ASUU is still fvcking on strike.
Passing of knowledge/lecturing, learning, sharing ideas in schools is currently on hold with no positive resolve in sight, and no one seems to care.
Instead we see zombies on the rise like a wild fire complemented with diesel.

Oh what a country, 9ja.
Lemme tell you all, no matter how we gonna rubbish education as a nation, education will still survive, education will stand up on her feat again and say enough is enough, it's time for y'all to give me the attention and accolades I deserve.
It's time for y'all to know that I am still the key and it's a thing of pride and joy to have me.
never again shall I be compared and even overlooked at the expense of frivolous and very hopelessly senseless shows as bbn, my worth will at the end of the day still supersede all.

With these words of education I am betting my hope on, that a time will come when best graduating students and very innovative individuals will be graced and blessed with 45million grand instead of this rubbish we've been forced to shove into our arses.

Not a student, graduated a long time ago, but on behalf of serious and resilient students, I say ASUU and FG, thunder go fire una father lap well well.
i really love this cool

When I traveled to Abuja for the first time, I experienced major pyschological trauma because I was astounded that there was little or no traffic. I wailed internally at what Lagos subjects it's inhabitants to on the daily. I am so used to Lagos madness that any period I don't encounter drama, I become jumpy and uneasy

Everything about Lagos is giri giri gara gara
I bet like me,inspite of all that madness u still prefer to live in Lagos, right?

what has that got to do with the topic

Really? You cant see it yet? Okay Let me help you.

While the setting of the story is BB naija,
The theme is the total lack of empathy of people towards each other. Worsened by the fact that they see the other characters as competition for limited resources.

The writer goes on to express his shock that even hospitals whose purpose is to save lives, chose money over saving a human life and even chided him for being humane enough to help a dying stranger.

In his story...the limited resources are "a few slots on a TV show" In my story, " who will first pass" is the limited resource course everyone cant go at the same time.

..and my point was to say that it what he witnessed was not just an isolated incident but a reflection of a deep societal problem.

Hope you understand now.

It's a Demonic and Devilish Sponsored show.. So they had to take blood....

If ur Eyes are Open, you will see and Understand......
I liked the show back then for reasons i can't tell now. But i lost interest when i read George Orwell's book '1984'. Big Brother's concept came from that book and it is totally against the people on the streets.

Big Brother is depicted in that book as satan. He imprisons and controls people. He watches over everything people do, say and if possible think. He denies people free movement, speech and pretends to reward those who will obey him.

The NWO is turning everything negative and making them seem positive and the ignorant society just laps it up.

It began ionocently, but it is graduating to blood letting, and when the earth is made drink human blood, hmmm.

Satan has been promoting laziness from Adam.

You don't need to work, you can have it all.

George Orwell wrote that book to warn the society about a System of Government that will destroy Man, but today Man is celebrating Big Brother, to his own detriment.
