Thank you!!

Hi everyone.
I dont know if this is the right platform to ask this but pls I'll like to know where to notarize my documents and which documents do I notarize under spousal sponsorship application for Canada.
And I came across a question under language that says have I taken a test at the designated test agency. I wrote Toefl in English earlier do I tick yes?
Thanks.

Thanks so much for your response

Blooit004:

The idea that WES is a difficult body to use because of WAEC is not true. I evaluated with WES, sent everything requested for, WAEC inclusive and my evaluation was completed exactly 2weeks after all my credentials had been verified; 6weeks in total from the date they received my documents, could have been shorter had my school verified me faster.

It is not difficult getting WAEC to send your result. Go to WAEC office at Yaba with 2passport photographs, a photocopy of your waec result, a sworn affidavit that the result is yours, one waec scratch card, 2 envelopes and 20k cash. You don't need connections there, WAEC will send your result and verify you. God's best.

TOEFL is not an acceptable language test for Canada immigration. Please click no.

Good morning all, I pray this week will be filled with testimonies in Jesus name.
Please who has any information on how FUTA UnderGraduate verification with WES is done, could it be done off-site, or I need to appear or pay for the verification again.
Thanks

Good morning all,

Please, I'm asking for a friend: which is better for Masters in Law (LLM) evaluation, WES, IQAS or ICES? and why?

Thanks...

Good evening peeps,

Since October, my school sent my docs to ICES for evaluation.

And they have since confirmed receipt of the docs. Its been over 3 months and i am yet to receive a response from them while they claim the duration is 6- 12 weeks. I have sent series of mails to them many times and no response. What do i do?
That's strange, because ICES usually respond in 24-48 working hours.. Check the email address well

I understand there's this new requirement by WES to verify WAEC/NECO.

Use ICES or CES.. No verifications. If you don't mind the troubles from verifications of the Masters degree and O'level, use WES.

for me i use certificate for my degree and SoR for my diploma and i credential got verified
Ifeoma77:

Someone shared that she used statement of result and they asked for the certificate later. So you can start with the SoR but keep pushing for the certificate.
If you don't have a copy of the transcript, don't worry about it. Upload the other documents and march on, it's not a problem

Unless something has changed, why are you guys evaluating WAEC in WES. You are just meant to evaluate your highest educational qualification used in gaining points. E.g. Masters/Bachelors Degree...etc. I hope you guys are not stressing yourselves unduly.

"Please note that it is highly unnecessary that you include your WAEC in the evaluation process as this does not add further points and only delays the process."

During my time, I only evaluated my MBA. PR holder since 2017!

You missed the memo

Proposed changes to Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations

The relevant part that concerns EE applicants is this:

Summary: outlining a clear process for IRCC officers to timestamp electronic applications, or other application-related communication, to give both clients and IRCC officers a clear and consistent point of reference when calculating processing times.

Detail: Date and time: The proposed amendments would provide details regarding the date and time when electronic applications or other information are deemed to have been received by clients and by IRCC and the CBSA. This will help to establish a consistent and verifiable point of reference for the calculation of processing times and other time-sensitive requirements, such as deadlines for submitting additional information to support an immigration application. The proposed amendments would also provide similar details regarding the time and date when electronic payments are deemed to have been received by IRCC and the CBSA, helping to ensure predictable service for clients and consistent administration of the immigration programs of the Government of Canada. These proposed amendments do not introduce new authorities for officers; they simply provide clarity for officers to exercise their existing authority in the context of electronic applications and systems.

For other proposed changes, check here and here
