Bros, the economy nor friendly nah...
No money to waste.
No time to dey stay that long for one skit.
The stand up comedy lost it all when the comedians started praising our greedy and wicked politicians openly on stage without putting their rival's (the masses) interest and feelings in heart.

Bovi, you don use pattern advertise your page unto many sermon

Carry go. Nothing do you

SarcasticWords:

Some comedians while on stage are cursed at or insulted by members of the audience while some get less than what was agreed upon by the organisers of the show. Who would want to go through that, when now you can easily open a YouTube channel or have an Instagram tv page, upload videos, get views and get your channel monetized with ads.

No insult , No cheating. You get paid.

As buhari done tight everywhere for four years so, most comedians have realized that many Nigerians are too angry and hungry. Rather than waste money and precious time organising a show with low turn out at the end of the day, they prefer to upload their skits and vids online for people to watch whenever they feel like. They will get views, get ads on their channel or page and get paid.

Shikena!

Just take a good look at the number of views on each of bovi's videos and tell me why a new up coming comedian would want to go through the hurdles and stress of organizing a show in this hard tough system buhari has blessed us with.

Buhari is responsible.......

It used to flourish under PDP but not again today

Vote wisely

Yes. You are right. There was free money everywhere under the PDP. Even a level 5 civil servant could go and watch comedians at Eko hotel and pay N100k/night while earning N35k/month.

I knew it was him from the way the sentences were constructed to the advertisement, I know exactly how that guy speaks. These comedians low-key doing advertising in disguise.... anyways he's even trying a little. Basketball abi basketmouth went from being an ace comedian to becoming the worse of them all. he's lucky if he can wipe his Burt now. I imagine how he gets anymore shows the last 10years

Most of these so called stand-up comedians like Basket mouth felt like they were gods in the comedy industry . How many upcoming comedians did they support and bring up. That's why they never saw the future of comedy and we're blinded.
Most of them are not even that talented.
Do they think doing a comedy skit is easy?? The likes of Mclively , Lasi si Elenu out of their ingenuity took it upon themselves to digital and they are making it and even more popular.
Now you can sit in your car during hold up and easily make yourself Laff, even on your bed , without necessarily spending 10k for regular sit just to watch comedy .
