Didn't really see the point of the police certificate thingy, so I didn't do it.

I don't even know how to thank God that will be enough to express how grateful I am. I was getting crazy waiting grin. It even made it worse that I wasn't working so I was checking my portal like 3 times a day for some days grin grin

After I submitted, I was always worried about every little thing! Trust me when I say every LITTLE thing. But at a point; I don't really know when it happened, I finally had complete and utter faith (began to form my approval timeline in my head cheesy cheesy)

All in all, whether you feel your application is perfect or you feel you might have made a mistake some where; Trust that you have a living God. For those that genuinely wanted to study and had their visa delayed, just trust God completely that he has a plan and have the the best in mind for his children. At the end of the end of the day, it's not how far (or who got there the fastest) but how well.

Lemme stop ranting now ☺️

I really thank every single one of you (especially senatorkolade and frankrobbn1), because y'all definitely helped in one way or the other.

Hello gurus in the house

I just got an admit from George Brown college GBC Ontario in Network and Security Analyst (Post Graduate Certificate) and I studied Electronics and Computer Engineering in Unizik and am certified in Cisco Certified Network Associate(CCNA),they give me a a deadline of March 22nd to pay my part tuition fee. I have series of questions

1. How do pay the tuition fee and which bank has the best rate.

2. Currently I own a franchise and also have run a business which is registered in CAC and we deal on procurements and installation wired and wireless Networks (LAN and WLAN) but this is on contract basis will it not be a red flag as I am not employed like the white collar job thing.

3. My sponsor is a paternal uncle who is not bearing my surname can he stand as my sponsor? And if he can what are the necessary documents I need to get from him for my applications because he is the CEO of a private firm.

4. Currently I have over 4.5M in my personal account and i pay my tuition fees 2.5M it will deplete my account or should tell my sponsor to pay the tuition fee from his account or should I pay from mine?

5. Please I need to start my Visa application. My parents dont have Birth Certificate they are aged. Will court affidavits cover for that.

Please I need all list of documents I need to get tailored to my case as an IT entrepreneur for my Visa application. Thank you

Congrats. Was it a masters program. I am scared of visual refusal. I got an admit for PGD,couldn't apply for direct masters because of my low cgpa 3.24 out of 5.

Yes it was. I'm not really an expert on this but from what I've seen so far on this forum, alot of people with PGD have also gotten approval. Although I think some schools accept a 2:2 depending on some factors. I stand to be corrected tho. I think more capable people can say more about it.

Let your sponsor pay for the tuition...it goes to show he is committed to your course.

It doesn't necessarily matter, many applicants has gotten a positive decision without submitting the tax clearance certificate. In my opinion, the submitted tax receipt would also suffice but if you need to satiate your curiosity, send via the web form and email directly to Nairobi since you already know the VO processing your app. BTW what route did you apply via?

From my little knowledge, there are two factors: your GPA for the last two years and if you have work experience in your chosen field of study. As for the particular universities, I'm not sure about that. Just Google Canadian universities individually and check their requirements. If you're looking specifically for low cost universities, the pic attached can guide you.

I disagree with you on that note;because I have a friend who got approved with a BSC and he went for a diploma in Welding;he studied physics.
So what do you have to say about that ?
He said "Likely". The thing is , an applicant with Bsc stands a better chance of getting TRV with am MSc application than diploma (especially of he/she is applying from Nigeria).
NB: There's nothing God can't do though

Congratulations to all TRV clinchers.... hope to write my testimony on this thread some day.
I need assistance from this wonderful family.I have been refused study permit with no cogent reason even after ordering my GCMS note. I am prepared and ready to give a try again and need assistance of good people here who can help to guide me.

I have been granted admission to Concordia University for a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. My questions are
Firstly, I learnt certain programs does not qualify for a PGWP in Quebec, how do I check if this program doesn’t fall amongst those not approved for PGWP.
Secondly, Is there any one here who has gotten a CAQ from Quebec? Can some one who has successfully gotten one guide me please?

Hi Guys,

Family application (study permit for myself, SOWP for wifey and TRV for my boy) on 28 Dec, upfront medical and Biometrics (on 31st).

Approval on Jan 22 for myself. Waiting for madam and my boy's approvals.

Question is, does it mean that until the primary applicant gets his passport stamped before other applications get approved or what?

Just to complete the story.

Family application on Dec 28, biometrics on Dec 31, upfront medical for us on Jan 2, then we updated our application with copies of the medical sheets.

Approvals for myself on Jan 22, my madam, Feb 5 and my boy Feb 9.

Programme - MBA (I think number one business school in Canada, am not too sure sha)

Documents submitted include birth certificates, educational certificates, my employment letters, proof of funds documents, no sponsor, letter of explanation for myself as the main applicant (2 pages), another for my wife (just 1 page), ties to home country (land documents, my rented apartment in Lagos, car docs, etc.), admission docs, CIC forms, etc.

God is great, He will complete the work He has just started.

As for those expecting goodies from CIC, just hang in there, yours is very much close.

On to the next one!
