I can bet that not up to 60% of peeps here know half of those names u mentioned.

U even mentioned only 4 out of entire sqaud of 23 players. What happened to the others? Have their longevity expired.

From that same 2011 WYC I can also only mention:

Kenneth Omeruo
Ahmed Musa
Ogenyi Onazi
Ramon Azeez(partially)

My point is the issue of longevity is not restricted to Nigeria. Age cheating or no age cheating.
Boss don’t explain further.Thegoodjoe got your point and his explanation damn good for us to understand your well pinpoint on longevity of youth players.

Iwobi scores via a deflection
So does that make it half a goal?. undecided
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by busky007: 4:38pm On Feb 09, 2019
Iwobi scored after making a comment on hitting the end product (wc is scoring goals) this week
I think the only thing that can help players especially nacho is knowing ur mistakes, having the belief and working toward it
Iwobi attempted a shot earlier wc hit sidenetting. (he would have normally pass it to someone

No matter how he scored the goal, it counts for him - deflection or not.

Let's stop this act of degrading our players' efforts with all these type of comments. sad
This is an extremely stupid comment. So was it not via a deflection? Found out that nobody was willing to upload the fact that he scored almost five minutes after he did which I eventually did, giving details as to how he scored then this? Una sense sha tire me

I just tire!

Some people are just hell bent on diminishing our achievements as a Footballing nation.

Over 90% of the current crop of our SE passed through our youth system. Starting from Akpeyi and Mikel to Ezenwa and Ighola who were part of the 2000s youth system to all the Obu boys of early 2010s and then to the Manu and Amuneke's boys of the mid 20s of which Chukwueze is the most recent product. Are likes of Akpeyi, Ezenwa, Mikel and Ighalo not still playing. Echiejile was also part of that era even Ambrose and Ideye.

Yes we are not Spain , Brazil or Germany but to a very large extent our youth system is very very effective in producing national team players that have stood the test of time.

Forget bro. I am sure u know the intent behind his emphasis on the deflection.

He should thank God that it was not an Iheanacho's goal that he qualified like that. Else the kind of noise that would have emanated from this thread this night grin

Make amends? For the likes of you? I really don't care what all you sentimental people have to say, that is in case you have not noticed that before already, but if he scores via a deflection again I will say it, if he scores via a header I will mention, it he scores with his hand I will mention it, and do you know what you can do about? Absolutely nothing

It was a a normal comment but I understand why people doubt your intentions. It is because you can be very critical of Nigerian players.

I could have said something like 'Iwobi with a lucky goal' or maybe 'that should have been an own goal'. But how is 'Iwobi scores via a deflection' a bad comment? I really don't get it.

I saw the goal on goal rush and I thought someone would have posted it, came online to point out that Ibe is a poor player then decided to do the honours, how you all changed that to me trying to bring down his goal sure beats.

Again apologies
