Hello people, i just received a call for a job interview i didn't apply for. The number used to contact me is not the number i wrote on my cv, I find the whole thing strange. No email, no proper job description mentioned. Just that the interview will hold by 7am and i should come with 2 passport photographs. I am just not sure about the whole thing. Please do you all think it is wise for me to attend the interview? I need your responses soon to help me conclude on my decision. Thank you all in anticipation.

Ok, you could give it a try then. Hope its the actual building and address not something entirely different cuz if it is then its possibly GNLD
Re: Post Abuja Jobs Here by SweetyZinta(f): 8:13am On Feb 11, 2019
Lo and behold I attended the "interview" according to them and it wasn't different from GNLD. This people wont just stop. Tjey will always restrategise and come up with new ways to get people to market their business.

I got to the agreed venue at 7.06am, called and was redirected to a new venue, plus a number to call for directions. I started loosing my calm but still stood strong. After so much trekking and waiting i arrived Bassan Plaza. I saw several young people going in and out of the plaza and i just started wondering, are they recruiting the whole of Abuja?

This is a new tactic because leadway house is for big companies like main one, bua group and some oil coys, but bassan Plaza is just the next street and thats where neolife is, another notorious gnld company.

Note for others, use Google and LinkedIn to verify invites, real coys don't ask you to bring anything, just come for interview, no calculator, no printing of any documents, no pen. And they always have an online presence especially a website and LinkedIn.

unless you want to work with an organization.

Instead advertise yourself and your work, create flyers, post online, catchy ones, create proposals that add values to selected companies that you know won't haggle price with you. Good luck bro

It was a typo, I've rectified it. What I mean by verify is to check out their online footprint and use your number 6 to know if they are legit or not.

Do you know that many of all these multinationals maintain a form of presence in the FCT as is the seat of power. They really don't have an actual office or use shared office workspace location to save cost of operation. PWC cannot particularly decide to ignore Abuja due to the scope of their operation in Nigeria

If you have the passion you would pull through. Try out new tactics, remember portfolio is very important. Connect well, I emphasize on presenting value in your proposals. if you give them rubbish to buy no one will answer you.

Sometimes they don't check their mails so connect directly with the hr executives on Social media.

I hope this advise helps someone.
