This thread is a lifesaver. Please help
I’m a lawyer awaiting my evaluation from IQAS (after like forever they’ve acknowledged my application ) I’m 30 and the principal applicant. Hubby has a masters from Coventry university, so I need to evaluate his masters? He doesn’t want to write the IELTS.

Which body will be best to use and do you think transcript and evaluation from UK to Canada will be faster and cheaper

It last for as long as its valid u can prepare it now to save time it's part of documents gathering

Good day everyone,
please can somebody please enlighten me; how a skilled garment maker/tailor with a high school certificate, can go about the process of Canada federal skilled immigration visa process?

I'm I qualified to apply or not?

Please I need experienced answers, someone claimed he can help me process it within six months for a fee of #1.3 million, I suspects he wants to scam me. wink

IMO I would suggest he writes ielts and leave the evaluation even if he get 6 across board in the ielts he will have a high point than ECA evaluation and he gets his results faster you can play around the CRS simulator

The work experience should fly.

Under work experience, you will pick 2009 has the year you became qualified to practice. Under education, you will fill in the details of your HND. You will select "No" to answer the question of if you have an ECA for the qualification.

When submitting your eAPR, ensure you include your HND certificate with your other Education docs.

Uche8419:
Hello,
Please I am a little bit confused about work experience for FSW and seriously need help from experienced people in this forum.
I am claiming work experience from Dec 2012 but I only sent my Bsc(2016), and ACCA (achieved member in feb 2016) for WES evaluation due to the delays I perceived of sending my HND but I had my HND in 2009 which i used to secure the job that I am claiming work experience from.
Please I want to know if the work experiences will count for me since the credentials I evaluated are ahead of some work experiences that I want to claim.

Thanks.

Hi,

It will be very tough.

The job "tailor" is a "B" skilled job under NOC 6342, but without minimum OND/HND or BSc, you will not have enough points to be eligible for skilled workers FSW.

On the other hand "tailor" is not one of the eligible NOCs under skilled trades FST.

The guy is therefore scamming you. What he will try to get you is a visiting visa TRV.

I'm picking it up tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

I've picked it up. No change but hubby's speaking changed from 7 to 7.5.

Still not enough aa CRS is at 431. We move ahead.

My consolation is this "the vision is for an appointed time though it tarry, it will surely come".

if you are in a hurry, post to a uk address and get it scanned to you.

How can I do this considering that the website says to upload proof of address. UK address that I will use will not bear my name. this has been the challenge as my address here in naija is not really an address, the sort of address where you have to describe the area, no established house or street name

Add the address for delivery only, it does not have to bear your name.

You can check out the self-employed person program, however NOTE that the processing time is 24months (it could be less or more)
