Used few days to prepare due to my busy schedule and the result came out very well this morning. I was really lazy about it. That is not to say you should not prepare. Just don’t be tensed and pray.

To my folks that applied to THD for master in Mechatronics...

Note that

1. The cut off is 75%. (I heard in my own time it was much lower and just 350 people from the globe applied and they admitted 100, but not all came through, visa ish and all. But in your set, its 1200+ applicants and they intend admitting just 100).
2. The first batch of admission letters has been sent.
3. Other batches would be sent and wrapped up hopefully this Friday.

Because I am yet to hear anything from them and I will like to know whether to start accelerating my other plans or just wait a bit. Thanks.

I really appreciate your quick response.

My friend and i are both applying together for the proficiency letter but in different universities. the one he got from his school was stamped by their registrar. So when I called my lecturer to help me out on how i can get the letter, he said he can write the letter for me using the school letter headed paper and that my HOD can also write it, but the issue is that they can only use the departmental stamp for me. He said writing the letter and taking it to the registrar office might take a while to stamp due to the fact that the registrar is not always on seat.

Is it compulsory that the registrar must stamp and append is signature on the letter, or should i just go ahead and allow my lecturer Or HOD issue it?

After combing through daad.de, I'm finding it very difficult to see courses that are closely related to what I studied in my first degree and its making me to be very angry.

I studied criminology and security studies and the only course that is kind of close to this is(peace and conflict studies)

Please if anybody can help me out I will be very greatful.

Send your admission letter, Passport data page, proof of finance or opening confirmation of block account and full name to info@lago.diplo.de asking for a student visa appointment

Good afternoon fellow scholars. please and please I have gone far in my winter admission application but along the line I feel discouraged on the part of proof of financial document. I dont have the complete fund, I am considering student loan but dont know of any institution that offers such. However, the course I am applying to offers financial support of which intending scholars must disuss with the course coordinator while applying for admission through mail . I have been communicating with my prospective course coordinator which he advised me to indicate my financial need in my application form and also indicate it in my ML. I'm scared if indicating this financial support might jeopardise my chance of admission though he stated that it wont be used as a criteria for judging admission offer. please beloved brothers and sisters kindly advice me on this matter because its given a though time and sleepless nights.

Well, as it stands, you need to mail them to confirm if the 22nd still stands as they have made the error of not registering you for today or will they be giving you another appointment. You will have to persist and copy all their email addresses that you know to get a fast response. Make sure you emphasize the fact that they did the first booking and the rebooking and as such should proffer a solution.

In the meantime, try and get another appointment via the portal if you can.[/s]

I just read your initial explanation again and saw that you got the 22nd via online and 11th as a response to your email application. My best guess is that they saw the 22nd already booked and rescinded the 11th (without informing you).

Since the system has approved the cancellation you did for the 22nd, you do not have an appointment right now.

So, mail them and explain in details everything as it happened and request for their assistance so you don't miss your deadline. Copy all the email addresses of theirs you can get.

In parallel, email your school and ask for deadline extension as a back up plan.

Send them a mail requesting a date and at the same time try and get a date on the portal.

Mail the school for an extension or worst case scenario defer your admission.

Those are your options...

AM takes 4 to 6 weeks and could be ready in a few days (7 days response has been reported) especially if you fund before the interview.........
