I wanna assume they send replies to the email address that was submitted with the Visa application. And mayb probably the agent submitted his own email address, which means he would have gotten the automated response. You know these agents can be funny atimes, they tend to hide so many things from the applicants. So ur friend should call the agent to know if he got the response or not(He may lie tho)
Hi so I spoke too soon. I just got a response from Kenya, it’s very generic. Is there anything we can do other than request GCMS?

“Good day,
In response to your email enquiry below, kindly note that this application is still under active review by our office. At the moment, we are not in a position to give a clear indication of when we anticipate finalizing this application.
However, we wish to inform you that our office is doing the necessary to ensure that this application is processed and finalised within the shortest timeframe possible.
Hoping that the information above is satisfactory.
Regards”

Guys !! Keep up the good work!! Sorry I haven’t been even active preparing etc.. My G Austacus.. don’t think I have forgotten my angel so soon lol.. missed talking to you
To the poster give your profile in details
I graduated in 2015 after 7 years in school lol started service 2016 nd ended 2017 and till now I never worked.. in my employment history I only added volunteering work amen letter to support
Also guess please try to participate in volunteering especially a good course and added to your application! Oyinbo people dey like am gan.. it could be in your field of work or humanitarian cause

PS- in my own opinion please applicant learn to read the IMM question before answering!! If you been refused Canada visa before write both SOP and LOe( to explain how you tackled the refusal).. I wrote 4 pages SOP and 2 pages LOE

makano:
I can see you dont really have a gap. In additon to what I have said earlier, you really need to work on ur SOP by convincing the VO that you are truly going to Canada to study and nothing more, and this should be very easy for you cos I can see Career progression in ur application. So settle down and take your time to write a convincing SOP, I will also advise you write an LOE in ur next application countering the reasons for ur refusal.. Pick them one by one and tackle them individually. And also work on ur Finances and submit relevant financial documents to proof ur financial capabiliy.. I hope you get ur visa in ur next application with tis little info I have shared. Peace

Answering if you have relative in Canada is solely based on your descreetion .. I have an uncle in Canada ( Toronto) but I ticked No cos I don’t want to have anything to do with him or have communication with him
Okattamgbee:

Thanks for your candid response.

Owing to the fact that i have been in contact with my AM does it sound okay to answer YES I KNOW SOMEONE IN CANADA?
Though have not seen her before no relationship whatsoever, only that she was assigned to me as my Affiliate Manager

Hello guys, please what period during the visa process does documents like bank statement is verified? Just wanna know so I can put my bank officer on alert. Also should my SOA have same amount as at when submitted for a positive confirmation or how is it done.

You would want to know that Bank Statements are mostly verified from the head office/quarters except that's were your account officer is been stationed.

Certainly not sure if one can ascertain correctly on the given period for bank verification but you should also want to know that verification of almost all submitted documents comes under background check.

Finally, just keep your account active and not dormant after submission

My advise for you is to take IELTS General and go for Canada Express Entry. It is better for you. You can start school when you get there

And you think thats the best option There are so many factors you need to consider before going for express entry.

Hello guys, good day everyone.
I’m asking this on behalf of a friend who applied for study visa via an agent. Her application just crossed 5 months, it’s at Kenya.
I raised a CSE(Webform) on her behalf yesterday using her email address . I haven’t gotten an automated response or any feedback. Is this normal? Could it be it was sent to the agent instead?

I ask because Ottawa always sends an automated response when I raise a CSE, I’m a PR applicant.

I am not sure but on the webform there's a place that says using the email address you used on your application...not sure but hope now u used another email, it won't affect the applicant ( not sure o, just saying)

Honestly speaking, I don't like how you guys talk to 042viber for some weeks now
Common, this guy visa is pending, trust me, he's facing a lot, yet he takes his time to respond to people’s question accordingly.
Please, we should be careful of words.
Words, when said and articulated in the right way can change someone's mind, otherwise can destroy someone happiness by using only your words.
A simple choice of word can make a difference between someone accepting or denying your message.
Ps: what he said is very professional to me. ”have you been denied visa?”
if he has been denied the visa, there would be ”SP REFUSED”.
the problem could actually come from the poster maybe he/she omitted it.
It's very possible he/she hasn't been denied the visa and get that feedback from the VO via Gcms note. if he/she tackles it asap before the final decision, then the VO may change his/her mind.
@042viber the VO have sent your application to Lagos for secondary review. That was why you got a mail from lagos visa office.
The other girl, what i was expecting to see is an active review not an active process
Anyway, all good cause it will definitely end up in good news. God pass them

Nwannem keep doing the good work.
God will bless you
Your testimony is pretty close.

@makano you are also doing a great job here, it's not easy, it will surely end in praise for you and others. The wait is derailing.

Bless up

Wait, getting that mail from Lagos means it's on secondary review...?

Yes I used her email in that placeholder. I got their response earlier today. Generic reply that the application is currently under active processing by an officer and they can’t give an estimated completion date..

What to do at this point? Other than raising GCMS notes

Hello guys. Great work you all are doing. I am pretty new here and i have followed the thread all through and i have some questions.

I got my admission letter from New Brunswick for Msc in International Business starting in Sept. I am in the process of paying the non refundable $500 deposit to secure my space.

1. My current International Passport will expire in December 2019. Do i need to get get it cancelled and get another one?

2. I have been reading here where people keep saying they did "upfront medicals". I called one of the hospitals where they do medicals on the Island and the lady i spoke to said i cant do medicals unless i am asked by the embassy to go and do it. She said the fee is 35k or something. The word UPFRONT keep getting me confused. I thought i could get all my documents together and just submit all at once?

Please advice guys.

Thanks

Let us to be a little sincere here.....

You don't have Visa, You are here advising people, is it on the process or on the Assurance?

You Applied for visa like every other person here, You advise people that are also applicant?

Please don't get me wrong, i am a bit confused here.

How about we all pretend that we don't know anything and keep shut?

I just saw where someone whose Visa is pending explaining to another person whose Visa is pending on how to fast track the whole thing!

The truth is , Canada wont Reject you application if you are very sincere, 85% of Nigerians applying are not sincere with their applications.

Apply as you are, This people work with Nigerians as their consultants, Keep submitting lies and expecting Visa.

hello guys, please I'm new here and want to start my journey for a student visa.
Just concluded my MSc in Civil Engineering and would love to have a second degree in Public Health.
What do I need to know?
Who do I need to know?
Honestly I've been trying to read the full thread of PART 15

PLEASE HELP
You stand a better chance going for PhD in your related field (civil engineering) or a second MSc in civil engineering (chances not as much as they of PhD). It will be almost impossible to get TRV going for public health with the kind of profile you have.
Your best bet is PhD (if you package your app well you have a 95% chance of getting TRV).
Good luck

Good day house, pls i need proper interpretation to this GCMS note, thnks and God blesss.
Pls Note: I studied Chemical Engr (1st degree) and i applied for masters in chemical engr. Working as a chemical engr. in an oil and gas company.

Previous travel not sufficiently demonstrated. Considering relevance of program, applicant’s travel history, available assets/funds, family ties and reasons to return to home country for general establishment in the home country. Given the PA’s assets /available funds I am not, satisfied it is logical given the cost of studying in Canada. I am not satisfied the course of study makes sense given PA’s history and education which leads to concerns the PA’s is leveraging the SP program as an entry to Canada and not for academic reasons. I am not satisfied that PA’s is sufficiently established to motivate them to leave CDA at the end of an authorized stay.
This can be divided into two
1.
Fund/personal asset: How much was the tuition fee, How much did you have available for your program? Are sponsoring yourself or you have a sponsor (if yes, how much did he/she commited towards your program?).
2. Hometies:
Which of your family members are in Nigeria? Do you or you family have any business or asset in Nigeria?
Answer these questions so I can give my little understanding of the situation.

For the fact that they don't have visa doesn't mean that their advice is useless and you having visa is a grace of God. Canada visa is not about how expert you are.
Sebi somebody taught Otedola and Adenuga the skills they are using now in school, why don't we ask the reason why those teachers/lecturers are not rich.

So if everybody is like you and decide not to assist peeps because you dont have ur Visa yet, how will this thread be informative. For ur Information 2 of the most knowledgeable gurus here presently i.e frankrobbn1, jnyuwa02 havnt gotten their Visas yet but when they answer questions here, you will think they work in the embassy cos of the depth of information they possess. Also if you have been reading this thread from the beginning, you will see where peeps that have gotten their visas thank Frankrobbn1 and other gurus for contributing to their success whereas they havnt gotten their own Visa yet. Even me, 3 of the peeps that I have personally guided have gotten their Visa while am still waiting for my own. Also most of the peeps that have gotten their Visa, once they enter Canada, they forget about this thread, so if someone that is very knowledgeable about this Visa application do not render help here because he or she doesn't have a Visa yet, who will now answer the questions that the newbies post here and how will this thread be more active? So Mr man I will advise if you don't have anything meaningful to say, you can just be a silent reader and do not discourage peeps that are doing a good Job here.. You can come for me tho, it wont remove anything from me.. Peace
