Send them a mail requesting a date and at the same time try and get a date on the portal.

Mail the school for an extension or worst case scenario defer your admission.

Those are your options...

AM takes 4 to 6 weeks and could be ready in a few days (7 days response has been reported) especially if you fund before the interview.........

All the best!!!

Brotherly,

Interview on the embassy portal was last dated April 4th as at last week..

I don´t think he could get something favourable except someone cancels his/her booking

So guys, I seems to be having issues here. I can't apply with my HND for a master's program however I'm thinking of using my OND transcript to process BSC, my HND transcript is not ready for now ...Do you think it will be possible for me ??

Or what other solutions can you guys suggest ... I'm really down I can't believe I wasted 5years in school to get to this dead point. Your advice is needed ...I need to leave 9ja thie year

Bro, you don´t need to be down. That's the current situation of our educational system. truthfully speaking, you can't even get admitted for Msc into Nigerian universities without a PGD, talkless of gaining admission into a foreign Uni with HND.

So the answer is a NO. just zero your mind away from Msc for now and focus on starting a Bachelors.

Going further, your OND is not sufficient to apply for Bachelors here. you need at least your HND results and certificate to get started. by the way, what did you study in your HND ?

Good morning House, I studied Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) majored in microbiology in University of Benin, with a GPA of 2.7, I was denied master admission a few weeks ago in a German university, because I didn't do any biomedical science courses, can someone please recommend a school that will my GPA, and also if I should apply for another Bachelor's will my age (30 years) count in getting visa, please guys I need your help. Thanks in advance.

Hello Bro,

Your 2,7 is equivalent to 2,7 also in Germany. but most german institution requires at least a 2,5 german grading in order to have a chance of being admitted. and that's equivalent of 2,88 Nigerian CGPA. Nevertheless, you can still get admitted to courses which are not restricted, also you need a strong motivation letter couple with work experience (If you have).

But its possible. just search wide and don't limit yourself to a particular field

All the best!

After combing through daad.de, I'm finding it very difficult to see courses that are closely related to what I studied in my first degree and its making me to be very angry.

I studied criminology and security studies and the only course that is kind of close to this is(peace and conflict studies)

Please if anybody can help me out I will be very greatful.

There are couple of courses though. Not every course and school is on daad. You can check HWR Berlin. The school has Masters in International Security Management. That's kinda close to your first degree.NB The course is only available in Summer.Good luck.

Bro i thought 2.5 German grade is equivalent to 3.0 Nigerian grading system?
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Chizzy4God: 6:07pm On Feb 12, 2019
HOD and registrar is same thing. Mine is from HOD and
I have got admission with it.

But make sure that it was stamped and sign with date.

I really appreciate your quick response.

My friend and i are both applying together for the proficiency letter but in different universities. the one he got from his school was stamped by their registrar. So when I called my lecturer to help me out on how i can get the letter, he said he can write the letter for me using the school letter headed paper and that my HOD can also write it, but the issue is that they can only use the departmental stamp for me. He said writing the letter and taking it to the registrar office might take a while to stamp due to the fact that the registrar is not always on seat.

Is it compulsory that the registrar must stamp and append is signature on the letter, or should i just go ahead and allow my lecturer Or HOD issue it?

kindly advice me on what to do.Thank
You

No, 2,88 gives 2.59 which is rounded up to 2,5

Anything below that is a 2,6

A 3,0 is also 2,5 but in this case without rounding up

Hope you get the gist

Please my good people, should English proficiency letter be addressed as TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN ? Because I plan using it for 3 different schools.
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Chizzy4God: 6:40pm On Feb 12, 2019
I think @pompido told you that you should mail and explain everything that happen and also to request for a new date.

My advice is that you should mail them again that you got their mail. But your requesting for another interview date, that you will appreciate if a closer date should be given to you, because of your enrollment date which is 31st march. Since their was mistake in the one you book before.
Just try to arrange this point to them so that they will know that the problem is not from you. I believe it will touch them to give you a date this month.
First use a mailing system to request for the appointment. Make sure you still attach those previous appointment too. But you need to wait for their respond, then if they didn't respond to you after 2days, then you can use a normal booking from their site. So that what happen before will not repeat again.

Secondly, mail your school to request for enrollment extention. Incase the thing delay.

Thirdly, if your using block account, make sure you fund before going for interview, so that your AM will drop faster. Because it must surely drop.

God bless you

Please House, my English Language Proficiency letter was mailed to me by my school (Like it was stamped and scanned to the system and sent to me in soft copy).

Now, my question is, can I print this and take it to the embassy for certification? Any clue on whether the embassy will accept if for certification. Thank you.

Hello everyone.

To my folks that applied to THD for master in Mechatronics...

Note that

1. The cut off is 75%. (I heard in my own time it was much lower and just 350 people from the globe applied and they admitted 100, but not all came through, visa ish and all. But in your set, its 1200+ applicants and they intend admitting just 100).
2. The first batch of admission letters has been sent.
3. Other batches would be sent and wrapped up hopefully this Friday.
4. May the odds be in your favour.

Good luck to those selected

So what do you think is the possibility of someone with HND in engineering applying for B Sc in mechatronics. Can admission be granted

They won't accept it... embassy don't take scanned copy as original copy. Well you can try your luck though.
What you should do is to contact the person that scanned/sent the letter to send the original to you through courier and you reimburse him IF you can't go to the school.

Thanks bro.

My partner is currently working on getting Canadian student visa.

I am looking at Germany in case she is denied visa and because of some inherent advantages over Canada to me.

For now US is not an option. I prefer countries in the schegen axis.

Like I said earlier the finance is not an issue as long as the money in the blocked accounts still belongs to me.

Thanks for your wise counsel.

PS- Sir, can you state other countries with family relocation packages?
Australia and newzealand is a good one its also don't yourself like Germany check there tread on NL

Like I said, any of your lecturers can write for you as long as it's on your school's letterhead.
Mine is signed only not stamped and German embassy certified it
