You can never please them all, they will blame you for there family problem, if you like fly dey will blame you for flying to there location. grin grin grin grin
Just know roads and ask them there preferred rout, some will tell you to follow where there's no traffic, and you now follow ur mind, and meet traffic they will blame you and say it's intentional,
it's everyday something just pray you don't meet such people.

Err what's the acceptable bribe rate for Frsc I was caught pressing away on my phone and it ended with me giving them 2k......so was I cheated? Or should I go back and ask for refund?
U didn't do so badly, i once took a family friend's suv to an airport and had an Encounter with them. There was a joint police/frsc checkpoint, after being frisked by the police, the Road safety personnel came to leech their 'own'. Multiple brake lights weren't functioning, there was no jack/wheel spanner and to top it all - No warning triangle/C caution. After arguing for the best part of 30mins, i escaped with a 500 fine. I couldn't believe my luck (i dont ever drive with original vehicle docs or DL.. So maybe that affected the outcome) . My friends were asking if i dey sure whether na road safety or Vigilante block me for road.

I rely on google maps for best route and it hardly fail me. Set google map as your default navigation app, then just click on navigation on your uber app while on a trip but if its taxify, click on the google icon on the screen of the app. it will automatically route you.

My brother please don't beat up yourself too much, it's always like that when u just start.
But if u accept request to places u are not to familiar with kindly beg them to assist you with directions.
Don't be shy openly tell the person u don't know the route though sometimes they will tell u to use your map tell them your map have been misbehaving since morning.
So that they will be solely responsible for the direction if they direct you enter gutter na their business. Lolzz
grin
But sometimes your rating go dey shaky because body too dey pepper some riders.

I had one experience when I started, I got this early morning airport request at Simeon akiolu, Oniru estate.

I was turning the whole estate looking for the main gate as described by the woman because they open the main gate by 6.
The woman end up carrying her kaya with her head to come and meet me at the second gate.
grin
I started trip boom airport, my first time of going to airport from the island.
I wasn't familiar with the map then but I tried to follow the map until the woman said I should concentrate on my driving while she will interpret the map.
At every turn she will tell me to slow down so she can read the map well so we don't miss road.
At a point after iyana oworo she shouted (you know that panick shout) at me to slow down, I had to even halt in the middle of the express grin so she would be able to tell whether to go straight or follow gbagada apapa expressway. Chaii, it was not fuuny that day.
The woman almost cried, the next thing she exclaimed 'what type of life is this' did I commit any crime to book a cab?
I became more confused.
grin
At the end of the trip she gave me one of the shawarma she bought, I thanked her.
I drove straight to Ajao estate and parked under one big shield, only for me to notice that later my account have been blocked as I was devouring the shawama I was just recounting the whole episode at the same time feeling pity the my victim.
grin
I later mustered up courage and went to Taxify office they read the note the woman wrote them.
She even ended it with na waa for Taxify ooo.
grin
I simply told them the woman insists I should drive so she will direct me.
After everything they unblocked me, so after then if I get request in the island I will tell the rider am not to familiar with island routes. If it's on the mainland I will tell the rider I work mainly on the island.
grin
And give the person the condition that I can only complete the trip if he or she can direct me.
And funny enough it worked, story plenty ooo, we go dey alright las las.
grin

Always ask the rider preferred route to follow and confirm the address on the map after starting the trip... Me I always ask for preferred route even if I'm taking rider from local airport to mm2 or international. Saves you from a lot of snide remarks and eventual poor rating
Chae:

Bro please can you put me tru on how to make use of Google map to look for alternative route, av been having issue with riders on it. Rider keep saying I went to go and take long journey so that my their bill wil fAT. Pls I think I don't know how to make use of it accurately.

Pls I'm a newbie
If for example rider destination is admiralty road lekki and I picked rider at palms shoprite,
But on our way I was asked to turn to federal palace to pick someone and then go to lekki from there.
Do I need to ask rider to change destination to federal palace and changet again to lekki or it doesn't matter the price won't be affected ?

Kindly assist

In this scenario I'd advice you tell the rider to "add stop" and when you get there you confirm the stop...or you can manually update destination via ur app....(does not Always work for me tho.. Cuz my app has a mind of its own and chooses when to allow me update destination) or you can "stop new requests" freestyle to the different stops and hope to see an amount that's gon make you smile at the end of the trip.
