Fixed Deposit of N5m
Closing balance on my 2 Personal SOA 7.5m
Inflow & Outflow in between 6 months was more than 100m
4 months Business Acct statements with an inflow and outflow of over 150m and balance of over 5m

Have Properties worth 400m in my Name
Contract of sale for all the Properties
Surveys in my Name
Copy of Recent Land use Charge on my name
CAC Certificate of my Real Estate

I’m a Network Engineer with Salary less than 500k and I’ve been working since 2012. I’m Business Oriented but have passion to study more. Could have done my Msc. here but distraction and calls will be too much. So my Business is on auto-pilot. Can be managed by my husband which I included in my application.

Reason for Refusal: 1. Purpose of Visit. VO wasn’t sure I will return. I’m married with 2 kids but traveling alone while husband and kids will stay here

2. Personal assets and Financial Status. I beg to disagree on this but willing to learn from everyone here.

I must say I’m not soo good keeping money in the bank. I invest every little penny I have but I was able to fix 5m and annual Rent from Tenants(4m) were what I used as POF. I have requested for gcms note though but before then what could be wrong with my application?
Are they expecting the money to be in the bank for a certain period of time? School resume in april, thinking I can reapply on time but waiting for gcms note before I will reapply. Please, I need to confirm something.
My financial sponsor (who is my older sister) provided 2 treasury bill investments which she stated in her letter that she has set aside the money for my studies in Canada. She has also paid my first-year tuition fees.
she has a letter of introduction from her employer and 6months salary account statement.
My question is that, does she need to provide proof showing that she has other investments apart from these 2 treasury bills investments

Order for your note so that u will know the actual reason. Then upload it here for assistance from the gurus. Then tackle it and pray before and after submission. I believe God will see you through.

Goodnews, That was not the reason for your rejection, Trust me, Genuine reason to enter a country cannot be met with resistance.

what was ur documents like?

Did you use an agent then ?

What was the purpose of the trip? ah! you said Tourism!

How many of you were travelling?

And you submitted same documents you Just listed?

Travelling outside Nigeria to any country is by far the Easiest thing ever, we only complicate it by our complications!

I have been following ur conversation with dt Vibrant guy or wats his name? I will advise you ignore him. When going through his comments, I noticed he was the same person dt made a senseless statement yesterday blaming peeps for rendering help here when they know they have not gotten their visa, u can just imagine that kinda statement from a "supposed" adult. So I will totally agree with you, its obvious he is an agent looking for Clients, if not he wont have made that silly statement yesterday and also he wont have asked you to contact him privately. So if everybody is like you and decide not to assist peeps because you dont have ur Visa yet, how will this thread be informative. For ur Information 2 of the most knowledgeable gurus here presently i.e frankrobbn1, jnyuwa02 havnt gotten their Visas yet but when they answer questions here, you will think they work in the embassy cos of the depth of information they possess. Also if you have been reading this thread from the beginning, you will see where peeps that have gotten their visas thank Frankrobbn1 and other gurus for contributing to their success whereas they havnt gotten their own Visa yet. Even me, 3 of the peeps that I have personally guided have gotten their Visa while am still waiting for my own. Also most of the peeps that have gotten their Visa, once they enter Canada, they forget about this thread, so if someone that is very knowledgeable about this Visa application do not render help here because he or she doesn't have a Visa yet, who will now answer the questions that the newbies post here and how will this thread be more active? So Mr man I will advise if you don't have anything meaningful to say, you can just be a silent reader and do not discourage peeps that are doing a good Job here.. Good news is its only based on purpose of visit and GCMS stated I graduated from the University in the USA since 2006 and never attended any more school since then until now, so they are not convinced I would be a genuine student. Sincerely I expected worst. So I intend to revamp and refire addressing their concerns. I am enjoying Nigeria a lot and my new job. That is why I have not been here sorry. But promise to be returning from time to time to give free information and help. Miss you guys. This forum taught me a lot and I am glad I was able to give back and helped a lot of people here go to Canada during my time here full time so called guru

How much of the $65k did your sponsor committed towards your studies?
I always advise applicants (with work experience) to also include their own SOA(just to show you also saved some cash on your own towards your studies, no matter how small). Also, if the sponsor is a third party (not parents, or siblings) I advise he/she either pays your tuition fee or transfer the said amount into your personal account (to show the funds will be available when it's time to travel).
Concerning your home-tie, try to convince the VO why you will return back to Nigeria after your studies. These might be but not limited to investments, family properties, potential job after graduation in Nigeria.....
NB: Like someone said, you have to work on your sop and if possible include an LOE(letter of explanation) detailing the reasons for your previous delay and how you corrected them.

Sorry, I am just seeing this now. You being a signatory to the account doesn't make you the bona-fide owner of the business. Therefore, when filling the application form, you're meant to indicate PARENT as sponsor.
