obstead200:His reasoning is so valid and logical. Where in the world is a church offering those conditions for a token fee? Harvard, Notre same and the likes charging high for a reason. please be informed of how schools are run before copying and pasting none existing policies. |

CharlesJok3r:Are you for real? CU, LU and Madonna are prisons? The highest ranking university in Nigeria Covenant can't be a prison because they operate a closed campus. |

NLbully:ppl like you Sud try N get some info b4 misleading others. Many of us are just going to church for going sake. There lots of informations being pass within a church nationwide that many of us didn't even hear abt. All we do is to come to NL and read the shit some are posting. In Redeem as a member, there is discount for members ranging from 10% to 70% depending on where you belong and am very sure other denominations are doing the same thing. Pls gt fact b4 coming to mislead others. As far as am concerned apart from the air we breathe in and out, nothing is free anywhere in the world. |

asuustrike1:BYU is a top rated University in the US and it's cheap. . Google it. . More than 20% of their students are in full paid scholarships - both members and non members. . There are other financial grants and loans for their members. . So what exactly are yhu defending? An African man simply gains satisfaction by stashing cash and not helping others - it's not their fault |

Schools aren't cheap anywhere in the world. |

EFX001:The church is a parallel government to the world. If the world think this way, the church ought to think otherwise. Dominion mandates if they understand it well Ought to consider the poor giving they are in their majorities... If they can win more poor over, The church already have more members. But I guess am senseless |

Kenog4real:Taah. .It's like yhu don't know the politics in this country. . The child of the poor man gets nothing. And that's bad. |
| Re: Outrageous School Fees Paid By Church Universities In Nigeria by CodeTemplar: 7:13pm On Feb 16, 2019 |
SmithRussell:Covenant and Landmark Universities too have those conditions. They give scholarships. It is simple logic. Choose a standard and a fee to support that standard, give scholarship to those you can afford to at the moment based on that standard, and admit the best of the rest who can afford the fee associated with your chosen standard. That's what CU and LU is doing and it is even better than FG run schools that just pump money into the schools for affordability sake but with varying and relatively lower standard. |

SmithRussell:The USA you cited has a stable economic. Have high GDP and her citizens are tax compliant. Nigeria doesn't have stable economic, the government doesn't fund education well and the citizens rarely comply to tax regulations. Don't expect education to be funded when the government isn't serious about education. Don't expect public private partnership were the vcs are not serious about running the affairs of universities. |
| Re: Outrageous School Fees Paid By Church Universities In Nigeria by SmithRussell(m): 7:17pm On Feb 16, 2019 |
CodeTemplar:They give scholarships mainly to the rich and influential who can afford it instead of the ones who can't. It's Nigerian church politics, the man who donates 2% of money he probably stole gets the prophet's anointing and blessing; while the man who donates half of his 15k salary is seen as nothing. . Very bad. . . |
| Re: Outrageous School Fees Paid By Church Universities In Nigeria by CodeTemplar: 7:20pm On Feb 16, 2019 |
SmithRussell:Another deadly lie there. The average poor man child that attends UI enjoys over N2million in FG subsidy over their 4 or 5 years stay there. Now, how many poor men can boast of N2m tax to the govt? Stop spreading wicked lies either out of ignorance, arrogance or mischievousness. |
| Re: Outrageous School Fees Paid By Church Universities In Nigeria by CodeTemplar: 7:33pm On Feb 16, 2019 |
SmithRussell:Stop formulating demonic lies to support your errors and humbly admit your mistakes instead of misleading innocent folks. CU and LU targets mostly orphaned people through their scholarship and not the rich as you falsely claimed here. Let me inform you about the newly built Faith Academy boarding school facility of Winners in Delta state. It cost over N1billion to build and when an estimate of school fees paid was made to see how long it may take to cover the cost of construction, it showed decades . The average outsider seeing the school fee will or may hurriedly conclude that the school is making profit because they are charging few hundred of thousands. Stop spreading falsehood based on assumptions. |

So getting sound character and knowledge from d church means paying through ur nose. |
| Re: Outrageous School Fees Paid By Church Universities In Nigeria by NoToPile: 7:46pm On Feb 16, 2019 |
It seems some people dont know what the running cost of a standard university is. Those christain schools dont even make profit if you ask me. Education is not cheap everywhere in the world, if you get standard education cheap, somebody, the government or some organization is heavily subsidizing it. |

| Re: Outrageous School Fees Paid By Church Universities In Nigeria by SmithRussell(m): 7:47pm On Feb 16, 2019 |
CodeTemplar:The politics there was referring to the church politics not FG. . . BTW, yhu don't know how much yhu pay on tax. . There's this saying in economics that the consumer pays all the tax. . So who's ignorant here? Back to the topic; do yhu know that Ghanaian universities are still not so expensive with their higher standard?? na thieves full this country; thieves and zombies who can die for them |
| Re: Outrageous School Fees Paid By Church Universities In Nigeria by CodeTemplar: 7:48pm On Feb 16, 2019 |
MrFly:No. Getting sound knowledge is what dictates the standard and thus the fee associated with the standard. get that right. |
| Re: Outrageous School Fees Paid By Church Universities In Nigeria by SmithRussell(m): 7:51pm On Feb 16, 2019 |
CodeTemplar:That's what happen in churches. . . Pastors these days are not different from politicians. . . Do yhu know there are retirees who donate more than half of their pension to help others; why can't our GO's do same? |

Please send your children to school that you can afford, going to their universities is not by force. after all my director's son is in one of those schools and up till now he cannot graduate simply because he has issues or many carry overs. |

| Re: Outrageous School Fees Paid By Church Universities In Nigeria by Nobody: 8:41pm On Feb 16, 2019 |
The fees quoted are reasonable compared to what many secondary schools owned by the Catholic Church in Lagos now charge as fees. I know as as fact that St. Gregory in Ikoyi charges up to N1,000,000. |
