I once accompanied a friend on a visit to see his younger brother at kirikiri prison.guy was begging and crying profusely that we should get him out.you are in control of your life out here.but over there,prison guards are in control of one's life; when/what to eat, sleep,wake.

I went to prison once.
One day my elder brother came to visit me with one of his useless friends.
I hated prison so much I begged and cried profusely for my bro to ensure my quick release.
My brother’s friend did nothing but stare blankly at my actions.
I confessed that in prison the guards were in control of one’s destiny.
I also reminded my brother that outside one decides everything for himself.
Fast forward into the future and I’m here seeing his useless friend posted the ordeal on Nairaland.
I always knew that guy was not a good human being talk less of being a friend.
