If this is true it is very wrong and if they are truly washing the money Christians are giving to them, then if u are a Christian desist from giving them money. Why won't you vilify these folks. Most people keying into this "won't give beggars" trend have barely given a beggar more than 50 naira at a blow. Not here to discredit anyone but how many of us have given a beggar more than 200 naira at a go. When I say beggar it includes cooperate beggar. If you live in any high brow neighborhood in Abuja you know what I am talking about. Suddenly you feel like a demi god cos of the 10 .. 10 kobo you give beggars. I mean no disrespect.. just saying. Charmingrascal:Oga I am a living witness. I saw it with my korokoro eyes behind ShopRite lekki about 10yrs ago. If I'm lying let me not see tomorrow. I was heartbroken to say the least, considering that almost every morning on my way to work, while the traffic drools, I will always give these guys, especially the elderly one something. I made conscious efforts to do that. I see them eating food from take-away packs and I wished I could also do same.
