The Known Existing Books Of Allah I by Rashduct4luv(m): 10:48am On Mar 02, 2019
In today's fast-paced world, it is a must for manufacturers of almost every product - from state-of-the-art microwave ovens to space age automobiles, from sophisticated sewing machines to powerful fighter jets, and from highly functional refrigerators to intelligent mainline computer systems - to provide a manual for the users' benefit. In light of that, it is impossible to conceive that the Maker of mankind did not equip him with any form of guidance for his life on earth.

It is unlikely that early man, with his limited knowledge about anything, groped about the planet and endeavored to understand his alien surroundings and circumstances. We know for a fact that a child is always full of questions, and never stops asking to satisfy his/her curiosity.
Without an adult's aid, he/she is helpless. The same applies in the case of the first man, Adam may Allah exalt his mention. His Creator, Almighty Allah, became his Teacher. After him, Divine inspiration continued to be revealed upon selected human beings with the command to guide their brethren towards enlightenment and truth.

These revelations were sent to many different nations in many different tongues, and formulated according to the needs of the times and the understanding of the people.
Almighty Allah revealed those Divine Books to His messengers as proof against mankind and guidance for the righteous workers. They purified and taught them wisdom by these books.
Allah, the Most Exalted, sent down a book with every messenger, because He Says (what means): "Indeed We sent down Our messengers with the clear signs, and We sent down with them the book and the balance, so that people may uphold justice" [Quran 57:25]

Books Known:
Among the books that were revealed, we know:

1) The Torah, which was revealed to Prophet Moosa (Moses) may Allah exalt his mention. It is the greatest among the Israelites' books: Almighty Allah Says (what means): "Indeed, We sent down the Torah, in which was guidance and light. The prophets who submitted [to Allah] judged by it for the Jews, as did the rabbis and scholars by that with which they were entrusted of the Scripture of Allah, and they were witnesses thereto." [Quran 5:44]
2) The Gospel, which Allah revealed to Prophet 'Eesa (Jesus) may Allah exalt his mention. It is a confirmation of the Torah and a complement to it, as Almighty Allah Says (what means): "…and We gave him ('Eesaa) the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous." [Quran 5:46]. Allah also Says (what means): "…and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you." [Quran 3:50]
3) The Psalms, which Allah gave to Prophet Dawood (David) may Allah exalt his mention. Almighty Allah Says (what means): "… And to Daawood (David) We gave the Psalms]." [Quran 17:55]
4) The Tablets of Ibraheem (Abraham) and Moosa may Allah exalt their mention.
5) The Glorious Quran, which was revealed to Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) the final Prophet. Allah Almighty Says (what means): "…guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion." [Quran 2:185].

The Quran Is Protected from Change:
As Allah, the Most Exalted, Says (what means), The Quran: "…confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it." [Quran 5:48] Thus, by means of the Quran, Allah abrogated all the previous revealed books. Allah has also guaranteed its protection from any play or mischievous distortion. He states (what means): "Indeed, We sent down the message and We will guard it." [Quran 15:9], for the Quran is a proof against mankind till the Day of Judgment.

Previous Scriptures Changed:
The previous scriptures were meant for a limited period. Their use ended with the revelation of the Quran, which abrogated them and exposed their distortions and changes done by the people. That is why they were not protected from corruption. They underwent distortion, addition, and omission. The Quran referred to this fact in the verses (which mean): "Some of the Jews pervert words from their meanings…" [Quran 4:46];
Allah also Says (what means): "So woe to those who write the “scripture” with their own hands, then say, “This is from Allah,” in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn." [Quran 2:79];
Allah also Says (what means): "Say (O Muhammad), 'Who revealed the Scripture that Moosaa (Moses) brought as light and guidance to the people? You [Jews] make it into pages, disclosing [some of] it and concealing much." [Quran 6:91];
Allah also Says (what means): "And indeed, there is among them a party who alter the Scripture with their tongues so you may think it is from the Scripture, but it is not from the Scripture. And they say, “This is from Allah,” but it is not from Allah. And they speak untruth about Allah while they know." [Quran 3:78];

And He also Says (what means): "O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger making clear to you much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture and overlooking much. There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book [i.e. the Quran]. By which Allah guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darkness into the light, by His permission, and guides them to a straight path." [Quran 5:15-16].

true2god:
Hi bro, you need to do a proper research before making a claim with a bold face. Read the points below:

1). Mohammed never asked his sahabas, while he was alive, to make a combined copy of the quran as a single book. It was a piece of poetic materials written (or revealed) in bits for the sahabas to memorize, based on occasions and circumstances.

2). The quran you have today was the idea of Umar Ibn Kathab, the 2nd rightly guided khalifa, who feared that the hafiz of the quran are dying in battles hence more ayahs will be lost (as many ayah were already lost as a result of lost of lives in the battle of yamama).

3). The current quran was an official document sanctioned by Uthman Ibn Affan (the 3rd rightly guided khalifa) after the death of Abu Bakr and Umar Ibn Kathab. The source documents (the origin quran) were burnt by the order of Uthman hence no available manuscript to authenticate the validity of the present day quran.

In 2 above you said Umar and in 3 it was Uthman that authorised the Qu'ran! Obviously you are confused!

Zayd ibn Thaabit said – when Abu Bakr delegated him to collect the Mus-haf – I sought the Qur’aan and I gathered it from pieces, i.e., leaves, patches of leather, shoulder-blades of sheep and camels, leaves of palm trees, and the hearts of men.

Al-Qaadi Abu Bakr al-Baaqillaani mentioned the justification for the action of Abu Bakr, the five most important points of which were:

1 – That the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not do that for a reason, and Abu Bakr did it because there was a need for it.

2 – Allaah referred in the Qur’aan to al-Suhuf al-Oola (the former Scriptures – al-A’laa 89:19], and He stated that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had something similar in the aayah (interpretation of the meaning]:

“reciting (the Qur’aan) purified pages [purified from Al-Baatil (falsehood)].

Wherein are correct and straight laws from Allaah”

[al-Bayyinah 98:2-3]

So this [action of Abu Bakr] was following that which was prescribed by Allaah and His Messenger.

3 – By doing that, their intention was to fulfil the words of Allaah:

“Verily, We, it is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur’aan) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption)”

[al-Hijr 15:9]

It was preserved with Him, and He told us that He would preserve it after it had been sent down. Part of His preserving it was His enabling the Sahaabah to gather it and to agree upon how its spelling and punctuation were to be regulated.

4 – The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had scribes to whom he dictated it, so that everyone would understand from this that it should be written down and preserved on sheets. If Allaah’s guarantee to preserve it meant that the ummah would have nothing to do with it, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) would not have had it written down after Allaah had told him of His guarantee to preserve it. But it is known that the way in which Allaah has preserved it is by causing us to preserve it and making that easy for us, and showing us how it is to be written down.

5 – It is proven that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade traveling with the Qur’aan to the land of the enemy. This indicates that it was written down and that the people used to take it with them when they travelled.

Abu Bakr ibn al-‘Arabi said: this is the clearest evidence for anyone who studies the issue.

See Ahkaam al-Qur’aan, 2/612[/b]

true2god:

4) There are many ayah that were not included, i.e, the verse of stoning adulterers. (sunnan ibn majjah hadith 1944). You can only see this in the hadith of Bukhari and Muslim.

For the umpteenth time, this hadith is weak (Sunnan ibn Majah hadith 1944) One of the beauty of our Books is the authentication of their narrators! This lie is popular on Christian threads looking for loopholes in the Qur'an!

true2god:
5) Some ayah were cancelled (or changed) and were not included in the quran (sahih bukhari 4:52:69 and sahih bukhari 3:31:170). etc

[b]Allah, may He be exalted, said (interpretation of the meaning):

“Whatever a Verse (revelation) do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring a better one or similar to it. Know you not that Allah is able to do all things?

Know you not that it is Allah to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth? And besides Allah you have neither any Walee (protector or guardian) nor any helper.”
[al-Baqarah 2:106-107]

During the life time of the Prophet (salallahu alayhi wasalam) there were abrogations and there was none after his death!

true2god:
Your quran has faced many changes and distortions, according to your own authentic hadith narrations. Besides, even the present day print was approved at Al-azar uinveristy in Cairo (1924). Any paperback quran before 1924 was different from what you have now. May I also tell you that we have 7 different reading of the quran: the hafs, the duran, wash etc. Go and study the rest and see the slight differences.
Takeaway meal: DO NOT MAKE A CLAIM THAT YOU CANNOT DEFEND.

Kindly stop the lies bro! Qur'an was approved in Al-Azar University in Cairo in 1924? More like the over 40 versions of the different Bibles in circulation! Not the same at all!

7 different readings.... does this suggest textual change?

Apparently your effort in bringing down the Qur'an will keep failing

Audhubillah minna shaytaanir Rojeem! May Allaah curse you and break the back of the liars if they do not repent!

I believe you understood me but you only wanted to be dishonest. I said the current Quran compilation was the idea of Umar ibn kathab but the official Quran you have today was sanctioned/approved by Uthman ibn Affan. Umar ibn kathab was killed and he did not supervise the final compilation of the Quran. So clear and simple!

And the reason why Umar ibn kathab advised Abu Bakr to get the Quran compiled was that many Muslims who knew Quran by heart had died in battle hence to avoid further loss of Qur'anic information, the idea of compiling it as a single text was born. If you read sahih bukhari 6:509, you get a clearer picture.

Why do you want me to disregard the hadith of Ibn Majjah? It exposed your Quran as a fraud. Why do Muslim countries make stoning as a punishment for adultery since it is nowhere in the Quran? The scholars understood this dilemma and would rather be silent about it.

The ayah, according to (sahih bukhari 4:52:69 and sahih bukhari 3:31:170) were completely cancelled, erased, removed from the Quran. It has nothing to do with the principle of abrogation. Both the abrogated ayah and the new ayah are all in the Quran. Many meccan ayah were abrogated when new revelations were given in Medina. Don't be intellectually dishonest. I am too old in this game you wanna play with me mhen!!!

You are a funny dude bro! Can you send me a PDF or screen shot of any pre-1924 Quran that is exactly what you have today, in term of textual uniformity The Quran being used worldwide today was approved in 1924 at Al-Azar university, Cairo Egypt. Do your research bro.

We have 7 different readings of the Quran today, is that how your prophet made it to be? Who sanctioned the 7 reading variants and are they 100% uniform in meaning?

Your cursing me is a waste of time bro. Don't be too emotional about it, after all it is a foreign religion and the Arabs didn't even view you as 'Islamic' enough but an ordinary 'Bilal' in your way of thinking.

Alhamdulillah! you are still tracing the Qur'an to the companions of the Prophet! None of the past scriptures can be traced in this way!

You confirmend that the Qur'an was learnt by heart by many companions and their students and it was compiled in to a Book when many of them died in battle. So no Problem here!

We have the Qur'an as the word of Allah. The Hadith is the traditions of the Prophet passed down to his companions and to their students....
Depending on many criterias hadiths are given grades! So i said the Hadith is weak!

Both the abrogated ayah and the new ayah are all in the Quran. Many meccan ayah were abrogated when new revelations were given in Medina. Don't be intellectually dishonest. I am too old in this game you wanna play with me mhen!!!

I am not dishonest and you are one putting up lies to discredit the Qur'an! What do you mean by (sahih bukhari 4:52:69 and sahih bukhari 3:31:170)? It is not new for Allaah to cancel an ayah and replace it with another! Intoxicants were permitted in early Islam and was gradually abolished.

How many times will i quote this verse from the Qur'an to you?

Allah, may He be exalted, said (interpretation of the meaning):

“Whatever a Verse (revelation) do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring a better one or similar to it. Know you not that Allah is able to do all things?

[al-Baqarah 2:106]

Stop the Chest beating upon ignorance.

You are a funny dude bro! Can you send me a PDF or screen shot of any pre-1924 Quran that is exactly what you have today, in term of textual uniformity The Quran being used worldwide today was approved in 1924 at Al-Azar university, Cairo Egypt. Do your research bro.

OK, i have done a minor research and i found that your claim was either an error or a lie! Try to read and watch the video in the link below!

We have 7 different readings of the Quran today, is that how your prophet made it to be? Who sanctioned the 7 reading variants and are they 100% uniform in meaning?

Qira'at refers to the various manners of reciting the Qur'an. There are 10 authentic Qira'at. For a qira'at to be authentic there are very detailed rules. Whereas the Qur'an was revealed in seven ahruf, as is proved in many mutawaatir ahadith. This was because different tribes pronounced and spelled words differently.
Each of the ten recitation has an isnaad (narration chain) up to the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasalam. In addition, these isnaads (naration chains) come through tawaatur (i.e. it was related by so many trustworthy people down the isnaad chain to the Prophet Muhammad salallahu alayhi wasalam.) The recitation differ in the vocalization of few words or letters.

Kindly desist from spreading falsehood about the Qur'an!

Your cursing me is a waste of time bro. Don't be too emotional about it, after all it is a foreign religion and the Arabs didn't even view you as 'Islamic' enough but an ordinary 'Bilal' in your way of thinking.

I never cursed you specifically! I only cursed whoever is a liar. So be careful when you bring up a lie against the Qur'an or Islam.
