Yuugen:What is the percentage of Nigerians that are NOT living from paychevk to pay check? For many hawkers and other unfortunate Nigerians, but going to hawk or to the shop or going out generally for THREE days at a stretch will put them in financial trouble I have seen this with my eyes; how a woman who hawks beans in Lagos back then got sick, and in one week, her family was already in serious trouble So what are you saying Those who are working in the formal sector (which btw is very small and constricted) compared to its mates in other climes, How many of them can sustain themselves after being fired for even three months? We saw how people became wretched overnight after the record job losses in 2016 Add that to the civil servant that are owed for months and are dying like rats ![]() Baba Nigeria is a $hithole third world failed state. the fact that a SMALL circle seems to be doing marginally better than the vast majority (which btw also expose you to security risk) does not change that. I'm.not against whoever decided to remain there o, but it is what it is... A failed state is a failed state |

maternal:this one have never traveled to canada that is why he is giving you links, these are the type of people that even if you tell them things are not as rosy as they show on tv, they wont believe until they turn homeless before reality stuck. and continue deceiving yourself that mortgage and insurance does not work in Nigeria continuing deceiving yourself that it is your sales tax, income tax and property tax that funds infrastructures, so everybody in Canada is working. tax is just one source of govt revenue, most revenue for infrastructures comes from taxing big companies, rich people, money made from trade and other sources. |

Rickywowoz:Chairman sorry to interrupt u, but whats ur main point on argueing in this matter now? Are u trying to compare Nigeria to Canada or what? Na question oo no vex. |
| Re: From Lagos To Toronto - Follow My Canadian Hustle by Nobody: 6:58pm On Mar 04, 2019 |
Babyvet:Yes, Canada is not so good as USA and both are not a paradise. It's natural for people to love their Homeland, Nigerians love Nigeria but many Nigerians are not only smart, very intelligent too, it's an amazing Nation, many handsome and intelligent people but ... many don't have place to grow up, to progress in their own country because it's not well developed and specially intelligent people understand, no paradise in Canada or USA, it will be hard the new start but for their kids Canada or USA will be their own country and their kids will have better future, more opportunities. |

wetdick:Hey like seriously boss u are annoying me here. Are u not really bothered that Nigeria will not be great again till the world ends? Because as it seems now we are close to the endtime and naija has not really done anything good for its citizen. even ur leaders childern are all cooling of in another country. ur leaders are going to other countries to get better treatment. universities has been on strike for how many months now, and u still said naija its not a failed state. to be sincere the only thing that is keeping u in this country is because u dont have money to go abroad and thats y u just argue blindly without proper considretion. |

| Re: From Lagos To Toronto - Follow My Canadian Hustle by Nobody: 7:14pm On Mar 04, 2019 |
Jamestown123:pls stop complaining and we are not close to any end time, those that want to build, will build, those that want to leave should leave, it is not by force but not everybody will be given visa no matter how they tried and when this is not possible what next, wasted time and energy. with those energy and time, smart people will be using it to get what they want from nigeria |
| Re: From Lagos To Toronto - Follow My Canadian Hustle by Jamestown123: 7:23pm On Mar 04, 2019 |
wetdick:Eheee now i get where u are going. because them no gree give u visa now e con make all those countries bad place haba. All what am trying to say is this my friend, when u see something that is white and u failed to call it white instead choose to call it black it means that u are not been honest and thats the problem in Naija. |
| Re: From Lagos To Toronto - Follow My Canadian Hustle by Nobody: 7:37pm On Mar 04, 2019 |
Jamestown123:i am not being honest about what, where did i write that nigeria is a perfect place this is fuuny coming from people who will not tell others the honest truth about living abroad, only few people do here on NL but me i know for sure that no place is perfect. i have seen Nigerians beg on the street abroad, i have seen homeless and drug addict Nigerians, i have also seen the unemployed and paperless nigeria, i have seen the man who became the accidental pastor abroad just to survive or the young guy who became an accidental rapper to survive abroad and i have seen families share an apartment or 10 boys living in a room, or the unfortunate footballer, all these things nobody love to talk about when they are selling the abroad dreams, they portray the western world as heaven me i know one thing, a normal westerner will prefer to feed a homeless dog than to feed a homeless man while in nigeria it is different. |

wetdick:Huh ...This statement is a Big Lie and you know it.I know you're going to argue back and forth but shows us the evidence of what western country will prefer the feed a homeless dog over a homeless human being? |
| Re: From Lagos To Toronto - Follow My Canadian Hustle by Nobody: 7:46pm On Mar 04, 2019 |
Ugosample:But less pay and more expensive things in the stores. Less business opportunities too. In America we have a saying, come to America to make money when you are young, go to Canada when you are old, Canada is good for to raise children and for to live being old, it's kinda socialist country, they don't let people to earn too much. America has more opportunities. It's the difference everybody knows. Also the climate in Canada is not very good, all food, clothes, furniture, cars are more expensive when the salaries are less than in USA. Yet Canada now is more easy on immigrants and USA close doors. At the same time, black people in US have more possibilities to work and live well, we have many any color people, many Africans too and there are preferences to give jobs to them, also it's more easy to adapt in US for Africans, you easy can make friends, people used to see black skin everywhere, you can go to any state and see to blend in in the Afro-American neighborhood, more at home feeling. |

Beautyaddy:ok.. i dont have time to argue, you can believe anything you want to, i dont have to show you anything, i have seen it many times, you can continue to believe what ever your fantasy tells you when i was in a place, i told some guys that there are lot of homeless people in america, they wanted to argue. anyway...it up to you to believe what ever you want. |
