Ologundudu forgot a critical point in my opinion. In asking for forgiveness, he forgot to mention the most important wrong did to the South West most recently, the September 27 Osun Guber Elections! This broad day light robbery of the electoral wish in Osun is still very fresh in our minds. And indeed if APC is sincere and wants to be believed, they shd not only apologize but immediately return d people’s mandate! APC has not changed, a Leopard can not change its spots! APC still remains ALL PROMISES CANCELLED! Be sure that whatever promises they are making is just to access power here in Oyo (God forbid, a ri won wo bi iran nibi fun odun mejo!) n once there, U and I know the rest of the story. Why pretend Ajimobi is the only evil doer in APC, when in actual fact the whole body stinks, from head to d very toes! A “democratic” Gov which forces down d throat of the electorate a rejected candidate prepares its self for doom sooner than later. This is Oyo State, e maa fi nu wa, a moo je.
I trust we do not want to b annexed by an individual, the way some states already are. Ibadan, Oyo, Ogbomoso, Oke Ogun, Ibarapa o; Ajise bi Oyo laari, Oyo ki i sebi Baba enikookan. Ki alaja ko mu aja so o, Let them hold off their thugs. A people reserves d right to exclusively choose their own Leader. A wi tan o ni Makinde o mo nkan kan, ko ni nkan kan... Ki l’Adelabu mo? He’s just going to be an absolute n easy Puppet in d hands of those who want to enslave Oyo d more. Their desperacy to install him says it all.
Kayus4real:
APC’s woeful outing in Ajimobi’s expected stronghold has prompted protests from party leaders, with Bola Tinubu, the National leader, now personally overseeing the campaigns in a desperate bid to prevent a potential surrendering of the governorship to the PDP.

Abiola Ajimobi, the outgoing Governor of Oyo State, can no longer attend governorship campaign events of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, SaharaReporters understands.
Ajimobi lost his Oyo South Senatorial District bid to Dr. Kola Balogun of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 105,720 votes to Ajimobi’s 92,579 votes, meanwhile the other two senatorial slots were won by the APC. To worsen matters, of the five federal constituencies in Ajimobi’s Oyo South, APC won only one, while PDP has already won three and is set to claim the fourth when the election is concluded this weekend.

APC’s woeful outing in Ajimobi’s expected stronghold has prompted protests from party leaders, with Bola Tinubu, the National leader, now personally overseeing the campaigns in a desperate bid to prevent a potential surrendering of the governorship to the PDP. And one of what Tinubu has quickly done, apart from buying off Adebayo Alao-Akala’s candidature, is to ban Ajimobi from showing up at APC governorship campaign meetings involving Bayo Adelabu, the party’s candidate.

“The belief of Tinubu and other APC leaders is that it is Ajimobi that the people are angry with — not APC — therefore he should stay away from campaign activities,” an APC source very familiar with the development told SaharaReporters.
“The fear is that Ajimobi’s appearance at Adelabu’s campaign rallies will be damaging for the party. In fact, there is a jingle of the party begging the people, explaining that Ajimobi, not the party, is the fall guy. Since the presidential and national assembly elections, Adelabu has been campaigning on his own — without the Governor’s involvement.”

In the said jingle, listened to by SaharaReporters, APC “begged” all indigenes of the state in the name of God and in the names of prominent Yoruba sons such as Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former Governor Bisi Akande and Tinubu. The party also mentioned President Muhammadu Buhari and Adams Oshiomhole as begging the people, and specifically censured Ajimobi for his pride in disrespecting the Olubadan of Ibadan, among many other offences.
With Alao-Akala’s withdrawal for Adelabu, Tinubu has already gained inroad into Ogbomosho, where the party could not campaign ahead of the February 23 elections.

That is exactly what the Igbos advocate too. That is why we ought to be our best allies but for some reason, tribalism and ethnic bigotry will not give way! Calm down, go and read up publications and press releases on the position of the Igbo and old Eastern region generally; Lower Niger Congress is a good place to start. Osinbajo clearly stated that restructuring is not necessary and he is the highest placed Yoruba man now. Where does that put your claims?
Igbos don't want restructuring,it is so easy if you want it, ohananze is highest arm of you igbos and they stated clearly their demands,it on YouTube, and published in written form on the internet. You give or hand over power to osinbajo, fashola, tinubu and see what they will do ,osinbajo statement is called "political statements".you will be stupid to have a position of that type issue at that level.Let luck shine on him and see if you don't go back to the 63 constitution.

Don't you get me? I have acknowledged that there is more to the resources in Lagos that crude oil funds. However, those other sources of funds are not magic or manna from above. It is the combined effort from human resources available in the state across all divides. The point is all people are important regardless of tribe or creed. Every little drop counts so they must have a say in the leaders of Lagos during elections, simple! That is the crux and genesis of all our exchanges.

Now ask yourself: Are you seeing the and feeling the real impact of these figures you are reeling out in the development level/status of Lagos as at today? Is there no room for improvement? Can someone else with fresh ideas not do better?
Without stability, progression is difficult,so the progressives need to get to power to continue and reach the set goals and objectives.

Perhaps the appeal jingle may be slightly more effective *if and only if* several innocent lives who were lost due to the Party's high handedness and draconian policies on the masses and particularly the workers could be resurrected via the appeal and reunited with their loved ones!-

In a developing country your expectations should tally with other emerging markets economies like India,Brazil, Indonesia, malaysia and not Europe with the most developed countries.

[quote author=freeze001 post=76377591]Are you getting frustrated? Why do you ask me what is wrong with you? State creation is not and should not be about landmass. There are indigenous Igbos scattered in states outside the SE. It is simply a function of recreating boundaries but of course madness in Nigeria prefers the status quo. Restructure/go back to regions, no. Disintegrate, no. Stop being parochial and stupid, no! When will the madness end?
Yorubas want regions nit state creation ,we don't want the same things

The Jagaban!!!! kiss

I didn't love him but now, this is who the Yoruba race needs!!! Awolowo version 2.0*

I don't know you but I love you my Jagaban. Just make sure you remain humble - least I forget, you bleeped up by not voting GEJ(another hero of mine) but all sins are forgiven.
Why would Tinubu had voted an ungrateful GEJ who he had tactically supported in 2011 ,only for drunken fisherman to unrepentantly and ungratefully pitch tent with anti democratic forces and ideals that have held this nation generally, and SS specifically down? It was GEJ who ran away from better ideals and not vice versa.
