Sorry this is coming late, I certified at the embassy and I’m sure your CGPA is good enough for admission. I applied with GP lower than yours

Thanks alot, do you also know the certification of documents type TU Bergakademie Freiberg accept? @ Germany Embassy or High Court.

I intend applying for Adanced Materials Analysis (MSc), cgpa is abv 3.0/5.0. Any advice for Me? I would appreciate some.

Please those who had gotten VPD, was it sent through post too after sending it through email.

Please if it would be sent to me through post too, would they contact me to know my current location if it happened that I didn't send through courier service ?

Good evening
Please, how do I know if my original Admission letter has gotten to Nigeria, because no words from my sch nor courier service.
Or will I be getting another one when I arrive?.
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by Fabcol(m): 10:40pm On Mar 05, 2019
You would get it by mail and post too..but the later is most likely not to get to you...so once the mail own land use that to apply to the school that requests the vpd

My white German friend told me that most Germans don't like going to eastern part of Germany...lack of job opportunities and so on, apart from berlin... and also it has high racism...the towns are cheap, with cheap accommodation, and feeding though. that's what he told me, but hr might be wrong

Racism is everywhere but is how you deal with it and most times, you just get does weird stare and sometimes, might not want to seat near you int the train or remove their bags for you to seat. It does not worry me as i love Saxony. For jobs, some students are getting them but they really like you to communicate even with Basic German.

The towns and accommodation are cheap but for me,i am going to see if i can remain in Saxony and especially with the 2years permit they give. If renewing, you do not have to block money again. Since we are under Frieberg.....

I have met some Nigerians that relocated from the big cities to come to the East of Germany to settle and have jobs. But it depends on what an individual wants to achieve here in Germany.

My 50euro contribution.

Go to the bank, I used first bank but maybe you can check any other though I'm not sure which one. Tell them you want to pay for NOUN transcript, once you pay they'll give you a print out. After that then apply to them through their email address academicoffice@noun.edu.ng requesting for your undergraduate transcript stating both your name, matriculation number and school year, also attach a soft copy of the print out. Payment for international transcript is 10,000 and 5,000 for local.
Kindly, how long does it take, and how can one get it at hand..?

Bonn University opened application on the 1st of March. I sharply applied since I’ve been waiting for them, MSc Economics. BSc Finance, cgpa 4.07, letter of English proficiency and working experience. I got this mail today and I’m ‘shooked’ Does it mean a BSc in Finance is not equivalent to economics in Germany?
Please you guys should recommend possible courses I can apply for with letter of English proficiency. Plsss
I want to apply at Bonn University too, however I am stalked at the "Referees" part. It keeps telling me the text contains a link. Please how did you scale through?

I got a VPD that was sent through post from Uni-assist last week Friday 1st of March but I was sent the online one on the 30th of January. They sent it to the address I provided when I filled the application form.

I applied for the transcript on the 24th of October, by the 4th of December they requested for age declaration. I received an email from uni-assist on the 15th of January informing me that they have received my transcript. As for getting by hand, I don't know how possible that will be unless you have someone in one of the higher institutions that you can send it to and the person will pick it up for you.

9 to 12euro per hour. Student jobs are available and agents that help to get you inventory, cleaning but if you are good in IT,you get those well. The thing is that, sometimes you would have to travel to work in other cities apart from your own.

Whatever you believe you can achieve in Germany can happen just believe in yourself and God. I have seen favour still work here for some Nigerians. There is a boy here, i call him "the man wey his Chi dey work for am".

Germany is way better than America. If anyone should disagree then the person should not be in this thread. My own personal experience as well. Germany is great. Just learn the language.

Thanks alot.

Please my travel health insurance from Mawista is 92 days (3months), but the German embassy requested a travel insurance that is valid for 6 months. Please how do I go about this?
I am thinking of buying an additional 3 months insurance from axa mansard in Nigeria to add to the 92 days Travel health insurance that I have from Mawista. What do you think?

heybaby12:

You can write your desired date on a paper with your name and all, or on the top right of your insurance.
