I need any help I can get on this issue please. So this morning this lady that works for a man I do business with woke me with a call at 5:37am today and opened up to me that she's fallen in love with me. I barely know her. We've just met at the boss's place thrice and I was on my business mission. We gisted small the last time I was around in January. And she was telling me about how her ex broke her heart and all, I was adroit, empathized and put myself in her shoes and all.

Told her to be more outgoing and more friendly cos she seemed to have shrank into her shell after her break up. After that day the calls increased, checking up on me and normal stuff. I reciprocated cos I felt it was normal for two matured folks.

The problem is that I don't really feel the same. Infact it was the least thing I expected this morning. Well I wouldn't bruise her ego, I respect her for her courage and I told her so. She said her problem was that the person might not feel the same and she was right. If I have to have anything with her it wouldn't lead to anything serious. but deep inside her she needs something serious.

Well during the course of the call just so I don't shatter her already fragile frame, I mumbled to her "well I like you too and I respect you, especially for your courage". I don't want her to misinterpret my comment. Please I can be her friend but we wouldn't kick anything serious, at least not on my side. It wasn't what I could relate over the phone. I stay in one of the the west African countries and she's in Nigeria. How do I tell her my stand without breaking her again when I'm in Nigeria?

Guys help!!! I will be in the comments section.

@Op, in as much as it's very difficult for women to handle rejection by a man, I think it's still very necessary you let her know the truth on time.
Appreciate her for her interest in you and for letting you know .....but let her know you don't feel the same way and you wouldn't want to hurt her feelings by leading her on.
Then, start limiting conversation with her little by little but if she's matured, there wouldn't be much hard feelings from her and you two can be good friends thereafter. If she's not mature about it, cut her off completely. My opinion.

Claiming you are busy round the clock , even to pic calls or reply her messages. If she sees u face to face and ask why u aint answering her calls , reply her with a yawn and bored look, that uv been so busy lately and even your gf in your country is even complaining too.
She will quickly get the message and gradually withdraw with time .

It will hurt but it's better , she knows on time than later .

Smiles .. U made me remember of a guy who came to buy my former car . This guy is handsome , tall , dark and looks matured . Immediately I walked close to him , i was like damn! Hes cute ! And so dark! I quickly controlled my looks as i walkd close and we shook hands , while we introduced ourselves . then I started talking fast about the car, he was just staring at me and not even at the car !

so I stopped talking and I said u are not looking at what am showing u about this car! I was already irritated. As I looked at him with a resigned look .

He smiled and said you are very pretty, as he stared on. I was like what?
I shook my head , turned the ignition for him to hear the sound .
I just want to get the sales of my car over and done with!.
He replied : oh forgive me , i shouldnt have said a word. Then he smiled and said I was simply carried away.

He then looked at the car , and said don't worry ,I will buy it . How much is the price again?
I told him. He said OK , do u want bank transfer or cash ?
My heart was racing , and I said in my mind ,Ope o! Mehn I didn't know its so easy selling off a second hand car o! Jeez! I think I should be selling cars! He didn't even argue the price ! Chai! I should have increased it o!

I stuttered and replied I prefer transfer. He said OK, let's go to your office, give me your account details and let's sign wats necessary and be done with it .
I was so happy ! We went to my office , with my heart singing halleluyah!

In the process of him making the transfer , I saw my alert in my phone , I was like yes!!!

I signed undertaking, the car is now his and gave him the documents .
Can u imagine ,as he was about to take the documents , he leaned over and gave me a Kiss! A light feathery kiss on my freaking lips!

I was so shocked! I just could not move, then he withdrew his lips, stood up and smiled saying sorry I couldn't help myself , u are just too beautiful to resist , while he stood up straight .
I felt so embarrassed cos I felt I should av stopped him but I didn't ! My lips betrayed me! Oh my God !

He then took the car documents, receipt and change of ownership letter then walked to the door, turned and asked will I still see you again?

I stuttered , how could u kiss me! With confused eyes! I know I was looking confused, embarrassed , foolish , dumb! Oh Lord ! I can call myself all kind of names and just open the ground and bury myself in it !

And the fucvking cute guy just smiled and gestured with his hand towards his ears : call me , then he walked away.

Finally at the end of this true life story , I couldn't date him beause HES A FUCVKING MARRIED MAN!!!!!!!! arrgggggggg!!!!!!!
