I see nothing wrong in what she said.

The whole statement was taken out of context.

She was asking for reassurance. That's all.

Lies? You better ask your brothers...lol
Bia this ola6 or whatever you call yourself, you have been masturbating all over this thread like you have nothing important to do, you are a hater and it's written all over you so why should Igbo's regard you. Don't worry when you push Igbos to the wall be happy when you get what you want out of it whether good or bad.

I have come to realise that total disintegration is the solution for all these insults. No one forced the other to join Nigeria so no one should force anyone to remain Nigerian simple. At least when we get our Biafran republic all these sharaka and threats will just faze out like smoke when you see Biafra looking 10 times more heavenly.

She was probably just joking with a friend and people are now going to use it for a different reason.

You should hear what my friends from different tribes say to each other as yabbis.

I am certain her words were taken out of context. Do we know the reaction of the person she was talking to?

She probably said it in jest! However, some of her kinsfolk have taken it as an excuse to abuse Igbos....and some Igbos have taken it out of context and taken offence! It’s all part of the useless ethnic-religious inspired partisan-politics in Nigeria that i’m sick and tired of!

All your long nonsense is so boring you fool. If you do not trust Igbo's we do not give a watery fvck but disenfranchising people because you feel threatened about their choice is where I am interested in. Look instead of trying yo frustrate Igbo's in Lagos because you have power why don't you push for the country to disintegrate so you can have Lagos all alone.

Strip yourselves of hypocrisy.

Lagos Lagos Lagos person no go hear word. When Lagos was being developed in the 70s and the 80s where were you Yoruba's, now you have all migrated from Osun and Oyo to claim Lagos. Why don't you push for Oduduwa republic, by then no one will disturb Lagos for you.
Your stupidity smell to the high heavens shocked Do you think I migrated to Lagos like your people? Do also think all Yorubas came from outside Lagos?Let me say that you are the most silly person I ever come across on Nairaland! It's either you're more stupid than the word stupid or you're just playing stupid!!! grin

Lagos have always been a Yoruba Land and it will remain so forever in-respect of what people with fish brains say.

You most lack the capacity to think out of your hatred for the Yorubas to have asked " where were the Yorubas when Lagos was being developed in the 70s and 80s! Chai I am laughing in Yoruba and Swahili at the same time. 70s, 80s .... I was in Lagos. Let me say I never came from outside Lagos to Lagos unlike most of your people that came from outside Lagos to Lagos that's with the exception of those that were given birth to in Lagos.

We the Yorubas have allowed you people to live and earn a living in the South West, a thing most of you won't allow a Yoruba to do in Your states.

Though i was fortunate because at a point in my life, i lived in the South East and they treated me well in the area and State that I lived and worked, they initially behaved hostile but later feel in love with me because I never went past my boundary; I reciprocate back the love they showed me. There were times/ days that i went out unknown to me that they were carring out rituals; I went past them and they saw and looked at me and then looked the other way without carrying out any evil action against me because I never hated on them nor did I go past my boundary. At no time did I insult them.

Perhaps that wont be the case if I have been behaving the way you people are behaving; Hating, insulting and claiming the area I lived is a no man's land.

Let me putbit to you that nobody is threatened by your choice but several people like you always turn everything to do or die! You see politics as "if note my candidate then the country must burn!!!" Let ask you, Which enlightened person does that? Only an illiterate, simi-illiterate or a tribalistic person do such.

I have igbos friends and even give them Contrats which they execute; they treat me right and I treat them well but those that show hatred towards me, have me do the same thing to them.

It's just natural. If you want love, show love but if you want people to hate you in such a way that make you cry then show hatred.

Whatever you sow is what you reap. Their is no 2 ways about it.

Madam now you know. It was your husband who started it by making them commissioner, local government chairmen, councilors and other important post in Lagos .
But now we have all seen there level of hatred.
An average Ibo man develop 95 percent hatred for an Hausa man at first sight and 85 percent for a Yoruba.
Soon the plan to take care of them will be unleashed.
Yoruba people are very accommodating but this people are taking it for granted.
Come and see them take up a house and they will refuse to pay a poor landlord for many years
I can see their posters everywhere in Lagos contesting for different political post.
It cant happen in the Far East. They won't even sell there land to an Outsider. K know some non easterner who lost their life in the East because the Ibo community envy envy their success .After they take over his house and chase away the wife and children.

If you are an Ibo man and this really hit you and you leave in the west ,.Watchout!!!!!!!
There is no significant number of Yorubas in Igbo land to make any impact. So a Yoruba running for a position in Igbo land will raise more eyebrow than an igbo contesting for a public office in Lagos.
If you are Yoruba and you are offering good money for a land in East you can buy any land you want.

I appreciate this reminder. Land was acquired by conquest in medieval times but in contemporary times it is also by conveyance and naturalization. So if other Yoruba tribes settled and naturalized and are counted as indigenes what stops Igbos now legal land owners even bound by constitution and sometimes even marriage to be seen as such? Just asking.
There are many Nigerians here in Gh, i mean landlords. Been here for many years, many of their children, grand children born here, Buh the fact abound despite being mixed with Ghanaians for many years, they remain Nigerians, they have right to do things to some extent buh not when they start throwing it at Ghanaians face, they'd easily remind them of their origin and to avoid such chaos they are bound to respect Ghanaians and their laws despite the fact that they are almost Ghanaians as the Ghana citizens. The war in Lagos is basically land extension dispute. There are many non Yoruba born in Lagos, have Lagos state origin certificate and so forth buh that doesn't change the fact that Lagos state is an extension of Yorubalands. And Yorubas being the major contender in the State believe it's theirs and their words should be final. It's like a Yoruba man of Ondo origin born and raised in Oyo state trying to go against the wish of the Oyo state indigenes in the matters that concern their state. Such person will be remanded of his root. It's a simple thing. David Vance was constantly doing that t Femi sorry on twitter when he was abusing the Yorubas because of Femi who is Brits of Yoruba descend going against the wish of the white Brits on their Brexit reform. Many whites Brits (deep rooted brits) did that, they were reminding the black brits their origin. YOU THINK YOU CAN DESTROY TINUBU? YOU THINK TINUBU IS EVIL? CONTINUE O...
.
.
Each time I hear people, majorly the lgbo say negative things about Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I laugh. I have never met him, neither is he feeding me. But I have been able to study him like a book and see the qualities of a good leader in him. No amount of O to gee can stop Tinubu. Except ti won ba fe te.

Certainly, Tinubu will have his shortcomings. Adara ma ku si ibikan o si. You his critic is not perfect. Don't hate Tinubu. Learn a lesson from him. The lesson below...

Amongst the current politicians, no one is as visionary as Tinubu. If Lagos is working and exemplary amongst all the states in Nigeria, it has the visionary foundation and supervision of Tinubu. The lgbo who has no single significant leader can say anything about Tinubu. It's a free world. Talk is free. But listen to me, anyday, anytime, I will certainly buy any of his authored books on leadership... and raising leaders.

Leaders have no two assignments but raising new leaders. This is the power of Tinubu. You can't destroy a leader who has raised more leaders, even if that person is your worst enemy. You can't eliminate him unless you remove the solid men around him. Leaders such like...

* Prof Yemi Osinbajo (Tinubu's Attorney General now Vice President).

* Kayode Fayemi (former Minister for Solid Minerals now Ekiti Governor).

* Babatunde Fashola (Two-time Governor and now a Minister).

* Lai Mohammed ... Tinubu's Chief of Staff now Minister for Information

* Babatunde Fowler (Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue).

* Senator Adeleke Mamora ... Speaker of Lagos House of Assembly under Tinubu now Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority

* Akinwunmi Ambode (Accountant under Tinubu now Lagos State Governor)

* Muiz Banire ( Tinubu's commissioner now Chairman AMCON).

* Adeola Rahman Ipaye (Deputy Chief of Staff to the President).

* Ben Akabueze (Tinubu's commissioner now Special Adviser to the President on National Planning).

* Abike Dabiri-Erewa (Former TV Presenter to Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora)

* Babafemi Ojudu (Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters).

* Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire (Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals).

* Rauf Aregbesola... Tinubu's commissioner now Former Governor, Osun State

* Adegboyega Oyetola, governor Osun state

* Akeredolu, Ondo governor sourced his politics from Tinubu

* Bayo Onanuga (DG News Agency of Nigeria)

The list is endless. Scores of Senators, House of Rep members, Civil Servants, even some Traditional Rulers, etc. The current leadership of Nigeria under Mohammadu Buhari is largely a creation of Tinubu. Please show me anybody from Ojukwu, chuba Okadgbo, Orji Uzor Kalu, Rochas Okorocha, Peter Obi, Jonathan to Buhari who has produced men as Tinubu.

Overtime Tinubu cultivated and placed his men in position of influence, thereby building a solid block of loyal leaders within his network. His godfatherism may look odd to many, but you can't deny his leadership. Tinubu did not just build men outside his home, he built his wife also or else he would become what we Yoruba call... "Adara nita, ma dara nile."

Those who think it is their duty to destroy Tinubu, just as some did to Awolowo between 60s and 80s should be ready to first destroy the solid men he has built.

Learn this lesson my friend: in all your aspirations and dealings with men, build others. Build leaders and the men you build will build your legacy. Tinubu is a mere human being, like all of us. But when a man does well, let us acknowledge it, praise him and give thanks to God for him.

This is my view. It is not a must you agree with me...
Let us read this view and compare with political leaders in lgbo land. Let them name those they brought up so we can see. Thanks

If he had an inkling of the sort of people he wanted to share a nation with, if he realized that they would prefer living like relics of the stone age; barbaric, unenlightened, religious fanatics and abhors any sort of progress, he would have made a different decision.

But then, how long shall we keep dwelling on the past, seeing that the decisions we make in the present is what's going to shape up our future?

The founding fathers failed. We mustn't let that dog our footsteps and displace our stride to a better future.

This trend of Yorubas saying they distrust Igbos simply because the latter decides not to be dictated to is plain ludicrous. The two main contenders in today's gubernatorial election are Yorubas. How does voting for one and not the other make the Igbo man a villain?
trust me, remove Igbo or not from this talk, Nigeria can never work. It's a country made to favour the North because of their loyalty to the brits. We must break this country before anybody can ever move forward. There has been problems even before merging the tribes. Awolowo never wanted to be part or have anything to do with the North cuz they've attacked Yorubas some times during their Jihad war and some nupe leaders and most of the wars was to take over Lagos from Yorubas, so he knew they might eventually use the disguise of a new nation to hijack the city from his people. And Azikiwe sees nothing in the North, he knows too well that there's nothing for the new country buh wanting to streched his hands towards Lagos as at then, all he wanted was Lagos, he didn't see the other evil plans of the North which was why he alligned with them.

So let not decieve ourselves brother, Nigeria is a country that is not moving, everyone goes to the govt to enjoy the oil money all they say is 'our oil money,' they are not there to serve, not there to do anything buh to eat out of the oil money.

We must break, there are too much hatred inside everyone, there are this deep hatred in every tribes against others, it's not working, it can never work.

And as for Igbos in Nigeria, Chinua Achebe did write about their problem in his book 'Things fall apart' or 'There was a country' either of the two. He wrote somewhere about them unneccessarily calling for envy and hatred towards themselves, he wrote about how they think and believe they are the most richest and when they become successful, they'd rather call on hatred on themselves with their own mouth instead of going about their business.

You are blowing hot air and punching at the wind....You cannot even afford one meal a day how much more dealing with anyone

Your rants are meaningless and its a fact..Your dread for the estab lishment of your own country is as potent as acid..

It is evident in your insane rants.

i know where you come from. It's better to pick beans all day than waste time arguing with people like you.

All i care and know is that, Nnamdi Azikiwe and his generations living would never know peace for the attrocity his greed has made him committed.

Wether you like it or not, sooner than later, our flag shall fly.

You cannot be living and have also prospered on someone's land and still go against what the Landlord/landlady wants!

We Yoruba's are so lenient and accommodating, if I may ask, can Igbos's call Kano 'no man's land' because it is also a business hub?

Just for the record, Oluremi Tinubu, Lagos belongs to us and not you and your husband. we true owners of Lagos say 'we still trust our Igbo neighbours'

Drabeey was Here

Lagos is a No man's land (fact).
It was once our Federal capital territory

Kano in your analogy has never been our capital city, so it's different.

Can any region claim ownership of Abuja today?

the answer is CAPITAL NO

so those still living with that thought of Lagos belonging to Yorubas alone should check the nearest shop, get the best of hypo and wash their polluted minds.

One simple question - are yorubas stopping you from getting biafrau.d? Just answer yes or no.
