Hello Everyone,

Lies and Secrets are part of every relationship but sincerely not good. Sometimes, your partner feels threatened and think they will lose you if you found out something about them or about their past.

Lies/Secrets are 2 things that easily tears apart any good relationships. Relationships are meant to be free from secrets and lies if you really want it to turn into a Marriage else it will eventually die off in the Relationship stage.

You need to know basically everything you should know about your Partner’s past and the things they intend to do (Their plans) and have mutual respect for each others else someone might just surface from nowhere to poison your Spouse’s mind and leak that Secret you have been keeping for Years (The Relationship is Technically over as your spouse will feel betrayed and might never get over it).

OP This should not be of your concern if you are not married.In the stages of An African marriage,At a point both families are supposed to go into secret search for informations about the other.In that period there is nothing about the bride and her family the groom's mother does not know and nothing about the groom and his family the bride's mother does not know.Now if you follow due processes of marriage,there would be nothing you won't know about your partner.
