Why the Southerners make a hell of noise about their plan and move for 2023, their northern counterparts secretly make move that seem to be a goal.

While it is the plan of APC party to zone the presidency to the South in 2023, the northerners are already aligning with PDP who will most likely be giving a level playing field to both Southerners and Northerners especially as the last flag bearer of the party was from the South, in person of Dr Good luck Jonathan.

So why many may think PDP are doing well in the gubernatorial elections, those who understand the dynamism of northern politics know that the northerners are only realigning so as to stand a chance to continue to be relevant even after Buhari leaves office.

If Kano and key states go to PDP who may likely field a Northerner as president, where lies the dream of Tinubu and his Southern cronies who campaigned for Buhari based on 2023 presidency to be zone to the south?

Just telling my wife this on Sunday morning.
The Northerners know their game.
They have divided us along party lines, so when the time comes in they will now divide us along the regional lines.
South needs to wake up,
You are so correct

OP, I'm going to tell you five things and allowed you to make inference from it.

1. The headquater of the press is in Lagos.

2. The international port is Lagos.

3. June 12 1993.

4. Buhari re-election.

5. Oil.

So do you think the Northerners will queue behind a southerner president when they can have option of supporting a northern candidate.

Unfortunately, you are right, the SW destroyed any chance of presenting a unified southern candidate in 2023 by voting against the south in 2015.

It's a treachery that will be used against them in future elections. If APC presents a SW as presidential candidate in 2023, it will be killed as a party, is it Buhari that can't save APC governors like Gandollar and co. that will deliver Osinbade in 2023?

I dey laugh. Yoruba greed is our greatest undoing. 2023 will not be funny. grin

APC is not any formidable without Buhari in the ballot. APC with Buhari can not even win convincingly not talk of without him. One funny thing about yoruba APC supporters is that they will criticize PDP in the public and went in the secret and vote for PDP

They do. But the reason why there's presidential rotation is simply to forestall a situation whereby the North used his population strength to its advantage. You all want shake that balance for a selfish reason and you expect the West not to use what it has for a selfish reason.

South West don't vote base on party but base on individual and achievement, PDP just win oyo and APC win Kwara against Saraki because they achieve nothing under him and this south people still blaming kwara people for voting against PDP...2023 vote for PDP if is northern candidate, they should continue we are ok by it!

Nah you can't eat your cake and have it, the duplicitous game of playing it safe on both sides won't work this time... Its either you are FULLY PDP or not. And it's quite obvious the SW have in more ways than not pitched their tent with Tinubu, you can't be a slave to Tinubu on one end, and then want to dictate terms on the other end on the basis of just "belonging", you gotta earn it.

Even if a SW PDP candidate picks up the presidential ticket in 2023, chances are the rest of the South will vote for him, but the SW will rather swing their votes massively for any APC candidate(even if he's a Northerner)that will be contesting, because Jagaban said so. Just very hard to trust yorubas politically and generally.

You have President 8 years, VP 8 years and you want another President for another 8 years.
