wayisshut:you guys don't get the concept of him coming online..he is obviously selling himself. Because if you claim you did it for sincerity sake them you wld stay underground than you still been the reporter of your good deed. So employees wld consider him sincere and maybe book him. Good concept. |

I am sorry to say Op you did not apply wisdom at all in your decision. Like someone said here, you could have written a letter of permission to you HM and request an adjustment in the time table so you can combine both. It is not impossible. Meanwhile see below |

Good move. The truth is for N30k a month is that what you went to school to be earning when you work? You know what you want and where you are going. But if it was an NNPC job or CBN job or ..juicy job with a monthky pay of 7 digit (yes the pay is about that range for gradiates) would you have taken the same action? |

Interesting post that yielded interesting responses. As you can see, some people have commended your efforts, others have questioned your sanity/intelligence, others have cast doubt upon your sincerity, while others still think you got the wrong of the stick completely. Its really different strokes for different folks Personally i agree with those who say you should have combined the two. No need for fall upon your sword. The country needs honourable people, but no need to martyr yourself unnecessarily. After all, as some people have already asked you, who is going to pay your fees now? Maybe you should get in contact with them and see how you can get your post back, with an adjusted timetable |

Op, firstly I assume you are a very little boy. What do you have to loose. Npower is definitely not gonna find out, even if they will not NOW. So you've got to use that money as long as it serves a purpose. If I may ask, what have you benefitted from the FG since birth? Your deed lacks wisdom. Listen let me advise you, nobody has integrity, even the people who preach it.dont have it. Live your life, max out every situation cum opportunity, build mansions for your kids, loved ones.Steal loads of money if you can, just don't be caught. Life is unfair to those who don't see. I started my career carrying a truck load of integrity, my mates built houses, had businesses, bleeped the creamiest pussies, with all my Mr Integrity what did I achieve? Be guided by reason. |

I love the moral uprightness but, Guy N Power is a deceit to start with. You can't pick a Graduate and keep him for full time for one full month for a pittance of 30k. When you are been taking advantage of, you have two options Confront your oppressor face to face if you can withstand him or Play the smart one on him, the way he is playing you without confrontation and everyone is happy. N Power is exploitation by dishonest Government, you were supposed to have find a way to to play it smarter because God does not throw manna down from heaven for anyone these days. Who is going to bear the burden of your finances in school in this harsh economy. My verdict Your decision is dumb Dumb DUMB |

Ops I think u made a mistake of resigning ur job. Must u do ur masters in uniben?...why can't u do your masters in d state u are working. I know doing that it will be easy for u to study and do your job at d same time. Assuming you are a lecturer in a monotechnic and u want to further your study, will u resign from your job? There are some things we need to apply wisdom to |

If I were you. I would not go for the admission and apply when the program is over. By then you must have gathered enough money for the program or apply to a nearby school to your PPA |

What's the essence of thread now? or you expect everyone you met for advice would end up giving you the same advise? cause they advice in the way you don't expect you they're not morally right? Nature always find ways of deleting weaklings, the ultimate rule of living is "Survive at any means" it apply to both humans and animals. People who cared about you and where looking out for you, you see them as not being morally right... Well done Mr. |

OP, kudos on deciding the right and moral thing. But I feel you lack negotiation skills. These aren't learnt in the lecture rooms but on the field. Learn to negotiate, working and studying isn't immoral. |
