If you submit at the embassy midway through January & February comes & they're still delaying issuing the visa, is there still any chance you could still be granted the visa in February considering that the admission runs through just January according to the admission letter? Or is it that once the month of admission has elapsed & they've not issued the visa, there's no chance of being issued the visa again even though you submitted within the month of admission? Thanks.

I was denied a tourist visa for visitation for the Philippines on January 28 without a reason for denial upon release of passport though all documents submitted were genuine and authenticated.
A successful interview and payment of visa fee dosent guarantee a visa.
On 28 January at 2pm all visa applicants who were interviewed on the 17th appeared at the embassy for collection of passport, but all tourists were not issued visas.....only students and those traveling for professional exams received theirs. Of all the visa applicants, only students received the greatest quota. Many submitted fake documents and were still permitted. Others who received not wept uncontrollably at the gate, but nobody cared and they left to face their fate.
If you would ask me, i would say that its all about luck.

I want to use this medium to appreciate everyone who dropped informations at one point or the other on this thread...

call a taxi WITH METER. Tell the driver to take you to a bus terminal going to your location. where are you heading to?

pls I submitted my documents yesterday at the embassy but my admission letter reads 14 January and this is March hope I will be granted visa

The only problem with Philippines is our embassy in Nigeria, I also applied and they denied me then I applied again and I got it, so even if you pass the school date it doesn't matter the school will extend your visa then you can wait for the next academic session or even summer classes and enrol.... everything goes well here [color=#006600][/color]
