Alphadoor: Thank you soo very much! you all have helped allayed most of my fears. I have also read through the latest guidelines on ACS website as you suggested. I noticed ICT Bus Analyst is competitive like you mentioned, however, that is the closest to all my years of work experience ( I am actually an IT Auditor or IT Consultant). Choosing another code may either mean I risk losing my years of work experience with no point or the other code won't be on the occupation list on the Medium and Long term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL). |

Hello everyone, am glad to be here thanks for all the information we keep gathering here,we are seriously thinking of going this Australia route but I have some small small questions I want the elders to please help me answer: my hubby is 34yrs with a degree in accounting and masters in finance, he will be 8years by april 1st working as an internal auditor in a bank, please how positive will his assessment be with VETASSES, he is going to be the primary applicant. I on the other hand though havent worked in a while but I have a degree in adult education/english and have over 4years of work experience in customer service. Pls do I need to also get verified too? Please what is the cost implication (visa fee, immigration fee, proof of funds e.t.c. I dont mind a rough estimate pls) for a family of three in this australia immigration journey. Please elders dont be offended if my questions are too much, just look with pity on dis smallie. I will really appreciate any kind and helpful response I can get. Thanks in anticipation. |

Great response @Alphadoor @Mo234, When drafting the statutory declaration, ensure your job description is fully aligned with the occupation Anszco description as set out by ACS in order not to loose points. Alphadoor: |

LoveWifee: You didn't put your age. Age: ? Education: 15 English: 10 Experience: 10 Total: You definitely need to rewrite your English test for 20 points to increase your chance of being invited. With the 20 points, you can get 189 without state sponsorship provided your age points is within reach. ACT, Victoria and Tasmania are the state's nominating Engineering Technologists. Read information about the nomination process on their respective website. |

Good morning house, I appreciate all your input on the group, please help me out to making a decision. about 3 two week’s ago I got an ITA to apply for Vitoria nomination which I submitted all supporting document the following day. After my research on the group, I realize that getting the ITA to apply for VISA wasn’t automatic like other provinces. Earlier today, I also got an ITA for ACT nomination. At this point I’m at a cross road if I’m to also submit my supporting document for ACT considering that I have to pay for ACT, although I would prefer Victoria to ACT. Kindly advise accordingly and if anyone in the house got a positive response from Victoria should also help me out. Thanks a lot |

tomifizi: Why not apply for ACT has well since Victoria is not automatic. If you now get ITA for Visa for the 2 states you can then choose Victoria. It is better to get both than lose out on both. |

LoveWifee:Age :25 Eng..10 Ed.. 15 Exp: 10 Total: 60.. As belong mentioned.. you need that 20 in english to For E.T it's very diffuclt get ITA with 75points as at today. Its highly competitive. 489/189/190 Maybe you can try another assesment with EA and address the reasons for being given E.T if any was given before assessment was concluded... except you chose E.T from the get go. Or maybe your partner can be the lead if his/her profile is juicy enough |

Pls what state should I nominate? |
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by bellong: 5:14am On Mar 14, 2019 |
Avangard: You are close to getting 20 points in English. Rewrite your English test for 20 points. Actuarial science is a profitable occupation, don't restrict yourself to a 489 visa when you have the option of a 190 or 189. Rewrite your English test. 1 Like |
