Buba Galadima, a former ally of President Muhammadu Buhari, has claimed that President Muhammadu and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), have paid some people to convince Atiku Abubakar, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 23 elections, not to challenge the result in court.

Galadima stated this when he featured on Sunrise Daily, a programme on Channels Television on Wednesday.

“Records available to us show that our candidates had won this election and that is why we have gone to court.

“APC have insisted, demonstrated and sponsored some highly placed Nigerians, paid them handsomely to appeal to Atiku not to go to court.

“What is their business? Didn’t their candidate in 2003, 2007 and 2011 go to court to challenge results? Did he ever congratulate those that were declared to have won those elections?” he queried.

This was contained in the petition he filed before the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja on Monday, to challenge Buhari’s victory.

Indeed they are begging Atiku that lost his polling unit to prove with INEC server that he won the votes counted in his village and in his physical presence.

Atiku should have been running mate to Peter Obi.

He was politically useless in the North and was depending on his Southern running mate to bring all the necessary votes to become president.

Meanwhile an equally useless Buba Galadima that only secured 2 votes for Atiku at his own polling unit, would have probably become Chief of Staff and be treating Peter Obi who supplied the victory, as a "mere Governor"


Why did an eager Atiku wait till 1day before the 21days deadline to file his electoral result challenge?

Atiku is just doing this to hide the disgrace of losing his own village polling unit. You would notice that even the useless Galadima and useless Saraki that all shamelessly lost and failed like Atiku, are the only ones talking about the tribunal challenge, to hide the disgrace of their political uselessness.

FFK has already poked fun at all of them. Gbenga Daniel, Buba Galadima, and Bukola Saraki.

He wrote: “For the first Director General of Atiku’s Presidential Campaign Organisation and his closest confidante in the South West to dump the PDP and join the APC even before the conclusion of Atiku’s election petition, is sad.

He continued : “For a man that was Atiku’s spokesman to say he was not a member of the PDP but still a member of the APC three days before the presidential election was sad. For that man to have won only two votes for Atiku in his polling booth and lost his ward and Local Government Areas to the APC and Buhari during the presidential election, is tragic.

“For the second Director General of Atiku’s Presidential Campaign Organisation and his closest confidante in the North Central to lose every single Local Government Area in his state to Buhari during the Presidential election, is sad. For that same man to win only two wards in his entire state for the PDP and Atiku during that same Presidential election is tragic.”

Atiku should be encouraged to go to court to clear all doubts, if not for anything, atleast to deepen the Nigerian democracy.

All right thinking individual would support this.

In fact without massive rigging, over voting ,underage voting ,threats to kill everyone insight and soaking of baboons and dogs blood ,Bubu will never win any election in free and fair election. In fact, the sham the called elections was just a mere military selection and approval of their c-in-c. The state governorship elections have shown that Atiku really won this election squarely.

APC and Buhari think that it's like during his loosing days when he always lost whenever he challenged his loss in the court...he is forgetting that CPC back then had just a hand full of politicians.... A party that held power for 16 yrs and controls almost half of the country is going to court for the first time since inception to challenge their supposed loss...they are lots of powerful men in PDP and alot of money to support and hire the best unlike those days of CPC....this case will be interesting
