Earthquake2: Or imagine Sana was in Crystal Palace without the support of World class midfielders playing the ball in for him. What would Sana and or Raheem be able to do in Palace. I don't think a lot in comparison. |

Earthquake2:A world class player who believes in his ability would rather move to a big club than extend his contract with a below average team like Crystal palace. |

But are you aware that African players (notably Naija players) tend to start their careers much later than their European mates? So using when their careers started to guesstimate might not be an accurate measure because their careers might have started in their mid to late 20s. O pari raindodger13: |

Curtisaxel7: When dey come to asaba we would beat them anyhow as long as the pitch is good we would beat them 4 or even 5 ... If d coach decides to release them victor oshimhen and onyekuru it would getbto 6 .. I watched the game the libyans dint play anything all they did was sit back and counter attack... Our goalie made it worse by getting sent off.. I felt if the goalie was not sent off we would have had a draw or even would have won the game.. 2 Likes |

Icon79:He's not better than Sterling and Sane. Zaha is talented but let's not overhype the guy because Palace values him at 90m. |

edi287: I disagree, all that happens is that Zaha will have to follow the strict discipline of Guardiola and his rigid but very effective style. On the other hand he may not want to play that kind of expressionless individual football. |

That not withstanding it doesn't mean I think your protégé is any better. Now on the debate of who is more creditable as a striker. It's a matter of opinion. |

TheGoodJoe: Sometimes players have an attribute that propels them beyond established players. With Julius it was speed otherwise in reality he didn't have too much competition at the time. Ighalo, Musa and even if fit Obagoal are not potential but long term proven and established top level performers. |

Icon79: You should make your proposition in comparison to Danny Alves, Frank Ribery, Arjen Robben, Ronaldo who are all above your proposed retirement age and the are currently players playing at the highest level of football in the world. I could add Glenn Murray and Jernaine Defoe all currently or former top performers in the EPL. Just shows how inconsequential devoid of substance your proposition is. Particularly as the alternatives you present may Never ever attain these levels in thier respective careers. If Ibrahomovich was a Nigerian at 37 he would walk straight into the SE no contest. |

Omo, those folks you mentioned are the EXCEPTIONS not the RULES. An average Nigerian player is not as disciplined (in terms of training and diet) as many of the players on your list. That's a fact! And in addition, most of those guys have quit playing for their national teams. O pari komekn: |

Raheem Sterling is definitely having a good season, but I have never rated him as a player. I will take Wilfred Zaha over him anytime any day! Sane is extremely talented but, right now, I will still rate Zaha above him. Having said that, if Sane keeps improving, in 2 years time he would be one of the best footballers on the planet.
