Finally picked up my package today, which of course includes my visa.

Time line:

Admission - 21st november.
Booked - December 12th.
Interview - 31st january
A.M - 13th March
Visa - 21st March.

You have a 1.7 German scale CGPA (that's if your school uses 5 point grading system o )

Contact uni-assist to find out what the problem is. Maybe they require more documents from you

Means something is wrong with your application.. Either wrong certification, missing documents, etc.....uniassist would send you a mail about what went wrong soon

Hey Guys good evening,

So I went to get birth certificate from NPC (National Population Commission) today. I was told they don't give birth certificates but ATTESTATION of birth which was funny to me.

Nonetheless they said I need affidavit from the high court. I went to the one at Ikeja.

It's better to go straight to the office than meet those hustlers on the road. Just go to the cyber cafés around, tell em to draft you an affidavit of age #200. Attach your passport and proceed to the court area where you'd only pay #500.

With #700 you're done.

Those peddlers on the road would charge you #2000 for something you can do on your own for #700.

Then I proceeded to NPC office (Babs Animashaun, Surulere) where I paid #6500 for the attestation. They claim it will be out in 2 weeks. NPC would ask for 2 passport photographs and valid means of I.D. I used my international passport.



I asked earlier on this space and everyone did 'jump and pass' on it, so this is for anyone who needs clarification on obtaining NPC birth certificate or attestation.
