I laugh when Nigerian ladies shout Feminism up and down. Their own version of feminism is only going with the things that favor them. Like this girl said, why don't you employ a female security guard in your house and see how things turn out. Or why don't the feminists start fighting for more women to be employed in the Nigerian army to go and fight Boko Haram.

I am not trying to say that men are better than women, but there are areas men perform better, and there are also areas women perform better. These are facts. We compliment each other. Let each gender know their role and perform it judiciously, without complicating things.

Absolute feminism demands equal rights in everything, and that should include pregnancy rights, breastfeeding rights etc. Not just equal pay rights. Absolute feminism is idiotic and lunatic. I don't know why they try to avoid equity and keep shouting equality when it's glaring that equality of sexes is an utopia.

Even in the eyes of God (the creator) men and women were never created equal, they have different skeletal framework, women are even considered a super being for their ability to conceive. Both are unique in their special ways and have different contributions to play in life, but obviously not equal. If your microscopic brain functions well, you should know that there is no need for existence of both sexes if they are equal (thesame).

Feminism was a great course in the 60s,70s till the early 80s... back then many Statutory Laws reduces women fundamental rights hence their need to protest the inequalities ... and their protest lead to drastic improvement in gender base legislation.

However the New 90s and 20s feminism is sheer stupidity with the exception of Saudi Arabian Feminist. .

Take an example of Oby ezekwesili, who was one of the leading vocal champion of women inclusion in politics, subsequently all political party made nomination form price subsidised and greatly reduced for women. A political party even made her a presidential flagbearer with men donating left and right to her campaign, only for her to decide not to contest few days to election.



It breaks my heart that the feminism of Billie Jean the great tennis legend and Margaret Thatcher the iron lady politician is been rubished by lousy folks like chimamanda who after seeing all the sufferings of an African woman most especially Nigerian, her own concern and contribution to humanity is why a man's name should or shouldn't be added to that of the wife or why a man shouldn't open the door for his beloved wife or why Hillary Clinton shouldn't proudly refer to herself as a wife and mother as oppose politician and former congresswoman
