Yes even in cross river

Enugu, Achi (Oji river), and Anambra, Ndiowo (Orumba south) make the best abacha biko
Some part of Ebonyi too

When i enter Aba,i dont miss it.Made particularly by those Ebonyi hawkers.

It's a lie, different villages in enugu prepares abacha various ways.

Some mix the abacha with beans.

Some place akidi by the side of the abacha and garnish the center with sliced onions, cucumber and akwukwo anyara.

Some prepare what is called ebacha echakiri, i.e abacha without any form of legumes (i.e beans or akidi or fio fio) and place enough akpaka/ukpaka by the side and a big okproko at the center...

And many other ways.........

I’d like to know these many-other ways, to be honest. Starting with Udi/Ezeagu/Oji River/Nkanu (core Waawa territory).

And what’s the Ikwerre ukwa|abacha-ncha hybrid supposed to be like? Has anyone in-or-around P.H. (or deeper into the Ikwerre hinterland, if there are any conc. Riverians for this thread) actually tasted it?

From what I've tasted so far, ngwo and nkanu makes the best abacha in Waawa.

Ngwo has more varied options. They tend to soften their abacha with very hot water. They use beans at times in their abacha with a lot of crayfish. When they aren't using beans, they will not pound the crayfish, they will instead put it on top of the abacha as garnishing.

Also, they can mince Kanda and mix it with the abacha. They can break fried fish into pieces at times and mix with the abacha. They have lots of other ways too.

Abia and Ebonyi does it best. It's common everywhere in Aba.

I can say Enugu is good with Ogba. Imo should stick with there ofe owerri biko, they are no contender here
