Hi Mamas, how is everyone doing?

Sending my good wishes and prayers for everyone.

I have been absent for a while no thanks to morning sickness but am getting back to normal now.

Grateful to God for 18 weeks so far. I know some people that still lost their baby even at 16 weeks.

Sending positive vibes.....

Try and buy wheat grass, either online or visit a health shop as wheat grass brings down high FSH. Also, you should be stimulated with Letrozol, not clomid.
I suspect that you have DOR and many doctors (even experienced ones) do not know how to address this condition.
funmima:
Pls can someone leads me to a gynae that can help me , because I have high FSH and lh and most doctor's will just write clomid for you , I have used clomid before and it never stimulate me , my new gynae still gave me clomid and bromergon because of my high prolactin , I want a gynae that will understand me

Good day all, I am new here and glad I found this forum. I am in day 2 after embryo transfer, it’s been the most of all this ivf cycle, I can’t but wait to hear good news on my 2WW. Anyone in same condition?

I am currently using Roding and yes they are good but the communication is extremely poor, wish they can be better in that aspect. Pls are you still on here, can I contact you, been looking for someone with past experience with Rodings, I am currently on 2 weeks wait, hoping and praying for the best, it’s done in Jesus name.

aadetoyin:

I am happy someone finally mentioned thefertilechickonline.com before anyone goes for IUI or IVF or choose a fertile hospital please do your research very well because it's obvious that we have a lot of fake fertility specialist making money off expectant couples.
For a long time I considered IVF but was never sure of where I wanted to do it. But with this blog I was able to streamline a few good hospitals like The Ark, The Mart, The Bridge (although some people might disagree) and The Roding( not so popular)

I eventually used the Roding and it worked for me. I had a few issues with them when it comes to communication cos most of them want to hide their success secrets but the Dr in charge is a blessing. Pls this is not an advert o ooo.

Before embarking on IVF or any assisted method I beg you in the name of God, pray very well to ask God if it's ur own way. Because it might not be the step God wants you to take or it might not be the right timing. If you have read God's waiting room volume 3, then u must have read about IVF and God's timing.
So don't allow desperation or low cost of treatment make you choose an hospital. If u have to wait for the right time pls do.
Also there are few NGOs that financially support some waiting parents. So do your research and pray well. May God help us all achieve our dream of been parents.

I have been a silent follower of this thread and I have learnt a lot, when mama ebony got her bfp I decided to cycle with grabbo and it was a pleasant experience , everything went smoothly and I got my bfp after 8 long years of waiting saw my baby with fotal pole at 6weeks but when I went for scan at 8wks the baby,s heart beat had stopped at 7weeks so it was termed a missed miscarriage with the cervix still closed and no bleeding. I am so devastated cos I was extremely careful and always resting.
my question is what really caused this miscarriage?
gynae says the baby will come out like my period naturally but it's been 5 days now and still not bleeding please mamas can anyone suggest how I can induce bleeding ?cos I still have all the pregnancy symptoms and a positive urine test.

Sorry for your loss my dear, I've been via this pain before. Unfortunately sometimes it can even take up to a month for your body to realize the baby is dead. Ask you dr to prescribe meds (misopristol I think) which u can insert vaginally to cause contraction and miscarriage. That's what I did after waiting for close to 2 weeks and no bleeding.
I can imagin ur disappointment. Don't worry dear; u will have another. Most missed miscarriages are caused by chromosomal abnormalities. It was hell when I experienced it but to the glory of God I'm pregnant today and everything good so far.
Good luck

It is well with you sister, we had a similar experience. ours was even at week 10, it was so devastating to say the least. But God compensated us with triplets at our 5th cycle, they are 5 years and 5 months now, doing very well by His grace. God will soon compensate you as He did for us.
@all, i must commend all of you for still keeping this thread alive, trust me, we the old timers still come in here to read some stuff. We thank God for all the bfps, and for those still waiting, pls dont give up, you too will testify. God bless you all.

Hi dear.

Am glad my post helped you and congrats on the bfp.

So Sorry for ur loss though.

I second everything @henmaris wrote.

Ask the doctor to prescribe meds for u for inducing it. Its delaying cos it takes a while for ur hcg level to go down.

God will surely restore double for ur troubles. Amen.

Hehehe. Nonsense and ingredient. He thinks you guys are an ATM . It is well. Sorry.
I hear some doctors deliberately make a cycle fail by omission or commission so as to get money from a second /third cycle. When they are satisfied, they then do the right thing to help the next cycle succeed. This is not to say that many cycles do not fail on its own o. Everything still depends on God.

Go for a clinic with a reputation to protect and one with a good record of live births on first trial/cycle. All the best. George's Clinic, Kingswill Specialist hospital ..these are among the few I can recommend.

So sorry .it's very painful.
I did my procedure at kingswill specialist hospital and I'm 5 weeks gone. 8 of us did our embryo transfer on the same date.

As at the time of my pregnancy test,7 of us got BFP. The 8th person didn't come for the test on time,so I don't know her outcome.

This is my 2nd IVF with kingswill specialist hospital, with 2 of them coming out positive.

You can carry out your own findings. The doc is very good.

I know there is a TTC forum but I was just wondering if there are any ladies here that are going through or will soon go through IVF/IUI or any other assisted reproduction techniques other than clomid.

I am currently doing IVF and thought it would be nice to share with others on the same journey and compare notes on meds, stimms, retrievals, transfers etc.
I'm on day 4 of stimms using 1cc of Menopur 75IU and 375 IU of Gonal-F injections I have to take in my belly every night. These meds have the worst side effects, headaches, nausea and kick-a ss diarrhea (TMI sorry  wink )

If you have an IVF experience, please share.
