Good evening everyone here. I'm really learning from great minds and I pray God blessings be unto everyone that has really helped all of us out here. Please, I have an HND and I have just 1m with me and I really want to come down to Germany(infact I'm desperate). I don't have the €8640 to pay into a block account for student visa. Please, is there any other way one could come down to Germany? Or can one do any short courses and still remain in Germany after the course? Which other way can I travel to Germany since I'm not buoyant enough to fund my block account? Help a brother here please.

You said its mandatory for a graduate of the course to return home after studying. I don't know that and would like you to point me to the page so I can confirm. If it's true, then I will have to apply to other schools.
Do you understand now sire?

Sorry ,I think that's for people applying for a scholarship under the programme. It reads " confirmation of employment from the employer in your home country and if possible, a guarantee of re-employment upon your return home".You will see this in United Nations University Scholarship for an International Joint MSc Programme(Fully-funded) via Google Search.

Other methods is through sponsorship letter or scholarship Positions
Dont be too desperate about it Germany no dey run you might get into trouble been desperate
Talking about short courses as long as you are gonna stay up to a year in DE the minimum of €8640 is required.

Please! For those going for MSc in TUM, it's 'all subject' which means that one VPD will suffice for all your MSc applications. But please, that is not applicable for BSc and that was what I applied for in TUM. So I was thinking it would be so in all levels. Please take note!

May success be our end results.

#PEACE.

Officially HND is not recognized in Germany. What you can do is to find a school you can discuss with over there if the will accept HND for MSc. Or you should apply for a degree course.
If you are admitted for a course, then you can find money for the blocked account.
Next is to apply for scholarship.
All the best.

Anyone who wants to pay Uni-assist fees can PM me. Also, if you wanna apply to a lot of unis, you can each uni's application documents in separate envelopes, addressed to the individual unis and then insert all of them in one package and send to me to save some money on the postage fees, I'll split them and send to the different addresses. You can even collab like this with a few friends, each person packaging their docs as required and then you all sending in one big envelope to me.

All the best to everyone trying to accomplish their dreams of studying in DE. #Bless

I heard the school is good. If they give me my most preferred course, I can consider the place.

But the best bet is to have an early admission letter to use for visa processing.

I'll humbly advice you apply for another Bachelors degree in computer science or informatics then. It will give you a solid foundation for MSc in the field.
Mechanical engineering is a bit far from data analytics. I hope this helps.

SooCute:
People come to Europe for many reasons sha.
Since our results came out for the first semester, people don quiet for our class group chat. I mean both Americans, Indians etc. Have you encountered those lecturers that are "stingy" with marks?
My dear, a friend in Cottbus is doing 4 courses in a semester (renewable energy something) and all the exam he says is like a presentation. That means, you'd be given a topic to go and research and at the exam day you just come do presentations.
Here in my school in Bavaria, i just need someone in this NL in my school to come and testify. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
Me i know i am not lazy, but when you feel you got all the answers correct and yet the result just be like say you dey lie.
LIFE: all the regions of NRW, have one ticket to tour them. Students card (from semester fee) of about 250 euro per semester, that means, you have wider tourism destination and job search possibilities.
Here, we have two campuses, your ticket from Schweinfurt campus cannot take you to Wurzburg campus....same Lower Franconia oooo not to talk of the whole Bavaria? Tankiu.

No fun. social life here is dead because people here are mainly old people and workers. Nobody has your time really. They don't even speak Hochdeutsch...that's official German. They speak Bayriesch dialect. No "guten Morgen" here ooo...na "Servus" oder "Grusse dich" so imagine all the Germans you read in the book? See i don't even gave time to be explaining again.
People think you don't want them to come where you are, as if i even know you in person. The thing is, we don't want you to face what shit we are facing. Some guys in other cities are schooling, balling and saving money with less stress, why do you want to do it how e go hard you? One of our guys failed 3 courses this semester. now that means next semester, he's already in a shitty pressure.

Now my school is collaborating with Auslandbehorde (foreigners office where you go to renew your paper), every semester you must complete 75percent of your coursework else, you have issues. That means 5 out of 6 courses every semester(We are doing 6 courses every semester for my course, Business and Engineering).
This does not include the compulsory German course you must prove. For instance, i got 1.3 in my A1 German, and 1.0 in my A2 German exam. Unfortunately, here, it doesn't count in your total CGPA. whereas in other Unis, the language counts in your CGPA and it is part of normal class, so you expected to normally graduate with C1 or C2 (which makes getting job pretty easier for you) which is the highest German....in the whole world grin grin grin grin grin grin grin. Here the German class is held outside normal study time table, but it is a must oooo and you have to pay for it...each level.

Finally, i know wetin carry e come Germany, if i had known, i wouldn't come to Schweinfut. Bavarians are just proud, they wanna tell you "yo! this is Germany and we are the real native Germans" so they are strict with everything. Not as if i don't have job, honestly i am the only one yet, other Nigerians here are paying Train ticket to travel 60km or more daily to work. So because i got job and many didn't get, does it mean all is well with Schweinfurt? or because i didn't fail any course and many failed, does it mean i am smart and they are duns or does't mean the exam was easy? Na you sabi. Inferential statistics doesn't not depend on Mode, but mean distribution as a measure of central tendency and a specific confidence interval (E no go better for Prof Mark grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin)
Well,in this jungle, make your mind dey am. Uche gi ga-adi ya fulltime. Now i have food, i am hungry but i don't have time to even cook next minute i am going to work...chai Oluwa Biko oooo.

K'emesia

I want to Apply to FHWS for the winter semester, I want to know if it’s compulsory to use both my HND and ND Transcript for my application. I only collected the HND transcript but if the ND transcript will be needed also let me know so that I can start looking for a way to get it
Thanks

Humble Greetings to everyone in the house, much respect to everyone who has contributed and is still contributing to this thread.
I humbly seek to ask, I hold a Bsc degree in Information Technology(from NGN) and on the verge of completing my Msc in Business Information Management ( from TUR). I however wish to pursue another Msc in Business Intelligence,/Data Science/Data Analytics and Operations Research from Germany. I'm wondering, will I need to state that I already obtained an Msc, will it hurt my chances?
Secondly, I heard there are Technical universities and normal ones, is there a kind of preference especially if I am considering staying back and working on completion of the program?
Finally, There are numerous universities, can someone recommend some schools from experience may be based on ease of obtaining admission or some other criteria that may benefit my search?
Thanks a lot as I hope to hear from someone soon.
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by Fabcol(m): 11:45pm On Mar 29, 2019
In German universities, requirements are based on course and not school..So this is what you will do
Visit daad.de and search for the course you are interested in..use the advanced search option to filter your search(with the advanced Search, you would be able to view tuition free schools, English language programs etc)

After getting your schools from daad, browse thru each of them website. The requirements for admission is always on the course page

Finally mail the schools to find out if a Letter from your university stating your bsc was taught and examined in English language will exempt u from providing an English test.
