He is not staying back, it was already established since high school and recruiting that he is staying only one season. Zion, Barrett, and Reddish are one and done, they are off to the NBA.

You are right but I feel like his game still needs honing. Perhaps, he will do so in the NBA but he is not yet the finished article. Cam Reddish might even be slightly better prepared since he has a somewhat consistent jump shot.
