Hello nairalanders, I bought a skyrun refrigerator today. I've plugged it for over 3 hours, it hasn't cool. Is something wrong with it or its the normal thing with skyrub refrigerators?

That's odd. If it has a thermostat adjust it to high/max

Did u connect a stabilizer wit it?

I've adjusted it to 7 which is the highest. It didn't work.

It wasn't cooling with the stabilizer, then i connected it to the extension hoping dat will make it cool

Use it wit stab for few more hours n see. If dats not working together wit d thermo, go n complain to d seller. I'm sure he will do somtin abt it.


Mayb send a technician to ur house or somtin.

If it's still not cooling by now with thermostat at max, full current plus stabilize. Then turn it off and contact the seller. The fridge is faulty no two ways about it. Ask for replacement if possible, I don't fancy technician repairing it.

I will advise against further use so as not to further damage the unit that may lead to voiding any guarantee. If it's not cooling, it's not cooling. You deserve to get full value for what u paid for.

I've done that. I called the seller an hour ago, he say make I give am time, say the gas don shake and it needs time to settle and dat I should let him know if it works or not by tmr morning. Thank u.

....said its stabilizer issue. I got a bigger one and not long after I connected it to the fridge it was cool....4hrs later the freezer part was frozen. I will still observe if it can stay frozen for long without electricity. Thanks for your concern.

I'm currently facing a challenge now, I have a skyrun freezer working perfectly before but due to power outage in the last one week and the smell that oozes out of the freezer, I decided to open the door without closing it for up to a week" and now that power has been restored, it's not cooling again... all lights are on but it's not cooling

Facing exact issue now,how did you resolve it

if its not thermocool its not thermocool.had a painful experience with skyrun too last December imagine going to store Xmas meat with friends

Did you allow the gas to settle before turning it on for the 1st time ?

If u buy new fridge u no suppose on it immediately maybe the seller didn't tell you, u suppose liv am for like for 24hours or below
