You raised a very valid and reasonable point there, however it is better not to waste your time fighting some battles as you can never win. The first thing is do we value the rule of law? Not just the legislative work but the work of all citizens of the country. We dont have the will to fight piracy just like corruption. 99% of Nigerians are corrupt and 99% of Nigerians buy pirated stuff when it comes to soft-products like that.

A friend of mine who is a producer told me that.. The major reason why Nollywood will never get to the level of Hollywood (in terms of graphics, cgi etc) is because of Piracy.

The reason is not privacy. It's money or rather poverty.
