I am still waiting for Stanbic Ibtc to deduct from my account for NTB purchase. I hope it sails through. Do they normally stay this long before removing amount invested? Stanbic Ibtc supporters club please assist.

Just as I dropped this message the alert came in. It was sweet relief.
I am a decampee from GTBANK trying to test the waters at Stanbic Ibtc. So afraid of being disappointed.

Gurus in d house, I did t.bills of 7.5 mil last year to be due today. I just checked my phone and found out I was credited about 910k. I just don't understand whether I was short paid or it is on roll over, I have been doing this for some years now and I never roll over. Firstbank wants to deal with me o.

Your 7.5 Million was Re-invested Automatically...
Possibly @ the rate 12.2% of 7,500,000 for 364 days=915,000
Less residual Bank charges appropriately=5k
That's why you are left with 910k..
That's a Fact..

Why not visit the bank to know what's going on?

Ok, I am sure I never ticked the re-invest option. So, for roll-over I only get to see my upfront interest, right?

Sure....,it's an error from the Banks ,and they will denie it to the last.......and finally put the blame on you...
If you request for your funds back, they will have to sell it @ secondary markets at their own rates to make gains..
Thus, the Transaction effects will be treated as "Pre-mature Liquidation Of T.B"
This is the peak of what should happen.

Yes if you did not ask them to roll-over with interest. However, to be very sure of what has actually happened you have to contact them.

I am battling with something like this with GTBank investing my money on tbills without my consent and when I requested for reverse they deducted money from me.no solution yet to return the deducted funds.

All Nigerian Banks are fond of this Incessant act....
Don't let it go,if not, more would happen in a different method....
If you are consistent in disturbing them about the refund,i bet you,Victory is yours..

Please I really need advice from you guys here. My sister went and fixed 1.5m with eco today. When I ask her of document for the transaction, she says no document was given to her, that the actual person that was supposed to handle the job wasn't around and she was asked to come back next week.
I'm just surprise. If the actual person wasn't on sit to start and finish the job, while could someone else collect the cash and ask her to come back next week without giving her any evidence of transaction?
I'm just being curious because our system is so porous and full of dubious personel.

@Grupo. Sound funny.... she is 25. Though she filled the form and the person in charge of certificate printing wasn't around according to her, but I still feel something should have been given as evidence that will be presented when she returns to the bank next week. I am worried because my cash is included.
