Go to the embassy around 12pm and tell the security man that you have an inquiry. He will put you on the queue and Paulinus will gently attend to you..it will be excellent if you can tell him who you VO was.. But the first thing you will do is to tell him the problem you have...please and please nobody will walk you out of German embassy not even the security if you came for an inquiry ( talking out of experience) do it ASAP.. May God be with you.

Please tell us more about the said experience.

I went to I inquire about my Visa status... I initially thought I wouldn't be attended to but I got to realize that after Paulinus ushers people for Visa interview in, the next group he attends to are those for "inquiries" . so the security asked me what I came for and I said "inquiry" I was immediately ushered in and I sat and waited for my turn.. When it got to my turn, he( paulinus) politely asked me what the problem was and I answered. As I was still talking with him, my VO came out and immediately I pointed at her, Paulinus happily handed me over to her and she attended to me quickly.. So that is where knowing your VO comes in..your VO is in charge of your file from the day of your interview to the day you receive your Visa.. He/she has a quick answer to your Visa status at any point in time.. It made the work easier for Paulinus.. Hope this explanation will solve lots of doubts.

Greetings to you all.

Please i like to make enquiries on certifications of school documents at the German Embassy.

I will like to book for certification for application to a particular school that is accepting applications at the moment.

I have other universities, i will be applying as well.

Can i go back again to the Embassy after once, to certify the other documents for other schools?

Thanks!

If it is not specifically required by the school that you should certify at the embassy, i would advice you should go and certify your documents at the high court. Any high court.

From different peoples experience i've seen, inquiring about your visa status isn't going to do any help, the best answer you'll get from the embassy is "we are working on it, we will get back to you as soon as possible"

For those that are always asking that they want to know negative stuff about Germany all the time, try and change your mindset. There is nothing negative about Germany that has not been mentioned here starting from not been able to access your block account immediately, to the point of not getting job and accommodation on time, to not plucking Euro on the tree, to the issue of finding it difficult academically than what you were envisaging, to the point of experiencing racism once in a while depending in your area, to the Language barrier, to the bad weather during winter and facing one or two difficulties when you are still young. All these have been mentioned here again and again. To me, I considered these as challenges that anyone going to a different country with different people, food, culture and son and not negatives which an average Nigerian should go over with as time passes by. If we get all these so-called negatives in Nigeria with the same opportunities and conducive environment, who will be killing himself just to come here? But if you need to know more negative stuff, then let the Aduro come and share it with you, then you will stop asking for negatives. Germany has everything a hardworking Nigerian student couple with the grace of God needed to be successful to the point of getting permanent residence. Just do what needed to be done at the right time and stay away from crime and illegality no matter what.

Note: You are not disadvantaged or considered as less intelligent than the others by the employers in Germany because you are holding FH degree certificate irrespective of your skills and Language proficiency, take this to the bank. Shalom

Never loose hope bro.. that's the main thing I'll tell you.
If daad hasn't been too productive, let me suggest a process.. it can take some time and consume data . But I'm sure you'll find one or two more places you can apply to.
Since not all schools are listed on daad, you can google out the list of all universities in Germany. Open the search result of Wikipedia. Now, open each school website on a separate tab and check out the list of courses they offer...
If you'll need an extra hand as regards the internet surfing, I can come over to assist.
