eem Oga! This is a student thread so obviously you will be arguing with students. I know your giving your own views but negetive vibes about DE like this may put prospective students off track. Everyone has his/her own path, your experiences and views may vary from another person's so that does not make yours superior. @honourableseyi is an invaluable member of this thread and his contributions here are priceless, something I cannot say about you (no offence). Germany is offering what our country can't offer so why not!! We shall see for ourselves!

Oh wow.. I'm so loving this your reply..I don't Knw wat the guy's problem is...

Get proficiency letter from your departmental HOD, let them use departmental letter headed paper, duly stamped, dated and signed.

Thank you Brother mine was transcript and BSc cert.
And yet is same certification use for proficiency letter and waec. Those people are just doing whatever they like. Treating our applications with disdain on top €75.

I also used the same certification at the first time but they complained only two documents, so I have to complIed with their rules.
Please just use another certification for the two documents and resend it.
Try to let them know your school deadline because I inform them about my which was 31 March and they sent me VPD on FRIDAY 29 they addressed it to particular school.

A page back, someone said he got English proficiency letter from ministry of education so I suggest you try that. WES transcript will not be accepted so you may have to apply to your school and have them send it to an institution you have someone that can intercept it for you.

Sorry I can't help you with the third request.
Viel glück

Why the disparity in cost if I may ask? Is one more recognized than others?

I really do not know but it could be because British council mails your result while IDP doesn't.

Everything you typed here clearly shows you are JJC .
You don't know anything and just running your mouth.
I can't be arguing with a student.

The earlier you drop this naivety and clear your eyes the better for you, if not you will spend years in Europe with nothing to show for it.

Like I always say, if you no sabi, ask question.

I can see that you are towing the thinking line of making millions within 6 months in Germany. Please, I am not interested in such ventures. If you didn't enter Germany as a student, you can not know exactly what is obtainable as a current student or German graduate. Why should I ask you a question of what you know nothing about? I repeat, what you are saying is false in its entirety. There is no element of truth in it, thus, people should be careful of you because you might be having ulterior motives. Shalom

I wouldn't have replied him if he is giving it as an opinion and not a statement of fact. There is a big difference between opinion and fact. Companies here are interested in your skills and what you can offer them and to cap it all, back it up with Language. Do you think companies that are now recruiting from Nigeria will have the same opportunity to employ German graduates already in Germany with the same skills and turn it down? I can count 1,2,3, 4.......... from Nigeria that has graduated and got a permanent job. You just have to do what you need to do to get it. Though sometimes the course you study might make it a little bit harder but once you have the command of the Language, it makes it easier a little bit. There is something called "Ausbildung" here, it is like an apprenticeship (it takes 3yrs +/- depending on the area) in Nigeria which is not in the same category as the University Education. People did this and still get a job with it after completion. Shalom

I don't think your approach was right, we are all one here, everyone has his or her own opinion, "put most successful students off track" I don't understand that statement, he said what he feels is the truth, this guy has finished studying and he is in DE, so he has his own opinion...what I notice in this thread is everyone love giving positive vibe, which basically is great...but things are not always rosy, anyone who says something negative or is not in accordance with the "positive flow" is immediately being shutdown and termed negative, the truth sometimes hurt, let allow people air their opinion, I have friends in Germany and they tell me certain things that are bad, but there are good parts too. And you taking sides based on inputs or contributions, I think its lame, we all are invaluable here, no one knows them all, if Mr A doesn't, Mr B will help.

Let's all keep the hussle on.

Thanks

Oga dey one side!
I choose positivity over negativity dunno about you and I suggest you read my post well before jumping into conclusions. He has not commented on this thread before to give us his "wealth" of information. The first post he made here was about the supposed segregation between universities and universities of applied sciences. If you feel you have information for the thread then share without creeping doubts into people's minds.

Bro let's forget everything, we all are one irrespective... thanks for the info, let me quickly read lol.
That guy trying to feel he has seen all is very irritating. That aside.
I noticed many of you just go to daad and apply to anything not knowing the difference. You just want to leave nigeria. Lol, anyway, the rule of thumb is this, if you are very intelligent by all means aim for a university. If you are not too bright academically and more hands on go to applied science. The white man recognises this unlike nigeria where everybody if forced to "read book"

Know this, as an African (nigerian especially) the odds are heavily stacked against you. If you have this in mind you will handle Europe and some dissappointments you will see better. But if your friends want to keep the milk and honey mindset, goodluck to them. They will be surprised.

I think you are right, i researched and found that true, it boils down to the individual, if u sabi read book then go to TU, if you are practical inclined and no time for reading then d university of applied science is for u, the goal is whatever u choose always come out with good grades.

Lol. I didn't keep quiet becuase of their nonsense. I can't be arguing with children, I've decided to let life teach them.

What an elder sees sitting, a child can't see it at the top of a tree

As for you, I like your open mind.

Like I said, go to quora and type any question you have about germany including this one this mallam is dragging with me. You will see answers from foreigners who have stayed there long enough to give sound opinions not these ones that have not finished paying the people that funded their account.

Oga ogini ?
You call them children yet you ain't showing sufficient maturity I have been reading through you guys argument for about two pages now you are the one with the bad vibes, the one with the rude tone since you no follow for children I guess I can call you rudeman
Dont ever insist on your ego my man, quora quora quora oya lemme clear you quora isn't just an automated answer quora is still a forum just like nairaland land and basically this info you are using to be braggadocious here was dropped by someone like you who felt like its his/her own opinion now another person is telling you from his own view and you are pooling your strings of insults
Apart from this your so called contribution that someone even Geh hype here how have you contributed here? Nna carry your bad belle and eye opener info shift enter yabaleft thats where we get crabs not here
Hey! Lastly be4 you enter into heated argument with someone here I suggest you check the persons profile Mr. Graduated Man
You no be student and you no be child should we now use nairaland and do quora? People like you make me bring seat when ever coming to NL just to observe without talking
