THE STORY CONTINUES..




LORD CHAKA, KING OF ZULUGUA, THE CAPITAL CITY SMILE AS HE SAW HIS THIRD WIFE GLOSSY BODY ON THE POOL...
The ground pool had an earthy feel. The walls were large format stones of white honed travertine and the floor was made of dull brown slimmed woods. The vanities were of a dark wood and the corners were a brilliant white quartz.....

"Lord Chaka... "She called out with pout lips..

Her sugar coated voice prompt him to quickly UnCloth himself making the maids and guards around to look away to stop their eyes from wandering to his unclothedness...

He quickly walk gently into the cold water which was adorned with nice odour...

The pool swallowed him to his chest as he swam to where she was standing....

She pout her lips again as their eyes met, then she began to lick her hand seductively...

"May i...? Lord Chaka said taking hold of her hand...

She smile as he took her finger to his mouth...

"I thank the gods for granting me a beauty like you.. "Lord Chaka said removing her finger from his mouth..

"And i thank the gods for sending you to me.. "She said wrapping her hands around his neck.., her breast pressing hard against his chest...

Lord Chaka curled his lips at the mention of his name.., he quickly turn to face the dead man who dared disturb his intimate moment...

"Forgive me my lord.. "The guard said fear stricken... "A servant of the priestess came with a message ..."

Lord Chaka grunts..."And what message did Chiakialada bring this time..? He ask turning to face Dama, his thrid wife..

"She wishes to see you..."

Lord Chaka scoff... "What insolent..., that priestess has no respect for me, not even an atom of it.., she wishes to see me, I.., Lord Chaka, the son of samualie the great.., can you imagine her guts...?

"She's the dark priestess my lord.. "Dama said rubbing her hands on his chest..... "She has no respect for anyone.. "

"Don't you think, i should be an exception..?, am the king of this great city..."

"You need not get angry by such lowly thoughts, my lord.., in my opinion, i suggest you make her realise your great status... "

Lord Chaka chuckled... "My father, Samualie the great gave her too much privilege.. "

Frown lines encroach on Lord Chaka's forehead at the mention of his name again..., with furrowed brows, he spun round to face the guard again...

"She said it's urgent.. "The guard added with pulsating heart.., Lord Chaka's stare made his heart raced with tremendous speed...

Lord Chaka sigh trying to calm his nerves.., he glance at Dama who nodded, without hesitation, he climbed out from the pool..

A guard quickly rushed to his side with a dry cloth..

Dama watched until Lord Dama disappeared out of sight.., she sigh and dive down....

Ludiba exhales as the bird he fixated his eyes on flew and hid in the thick branches of the tall trees...

He lour down to look at the book in his hand, he recalled his parent's arguments over destroying the book.., he sniff and look ahead as if something was coming his way.. But besides his imagination, there was nothing visible other than the trees and birds singing in their beautiful voices reminding him of what he had done....

He knew for a fact that nothing can justify his actions, he ran out with the book and he doesn't know why...

He remember his mother's words, that the powers of the book has cast a spell on his grandfather, what if it's true, what if a spell has also be cast on him.., perhaps whatever powers that lies in the book, it doesn't want to be destroyed...

He grunts when he realise his thoughts had no meaning...

"I knew you'll be here... "

Shocked, he spun round to face the person....

Aluziya gave him a wry smile but when he didn't return it, she frown back and trot towards him...

"How did you know i was here...? Ludiba ask holding the book firmly in his hands..

"This is where we always come whenever father or mother is angry with us.. "Aluziya said sitting beside him...

Ludiba swallowed, that thought had completely eluded him.... "Do you think i did the right thing..?

"It doesn't matter if it's right or wrong, what matters is the safety of this book.. "

Safety...!, Didn't you hear what father and mother said, this book is evil... "

"Do you believe that..?

Ludiba look away, he wasn't sure of what to say, what to think... and what to believe..

"Didn't you hear what grandfather said.. "Aluziya said... "This book will bring good tidings to us.. "

"I don't doubt grandfather words Alu.., but at what price will those good tidings come...?

Aluziya sigh.. "Still.., we can't let this book be destroyed.. "

He grunts and walk into the hut at the priestess servant signal...

The priestess servant left as soon as the dark priestess came into light...

"I didn't like the way and manner you summoned me here Chiakialada.. "Lord Chaka said

"Even your father, Samualie the great didn't dare to call me by my name... "The dark priestess retorted...

"My father is dead...,must i constantly remind you of that..?

"No... "The dark priestess replied with unblinking eyes.... "Neither do we have to talk about him.."

"Then go straight to the point then..., what is so important that couldn't wait for me to finish my bathe... "

"Ogini is shedding blood.. "She said

"And why would ogini be doing that.. ?

"Something has happened o-king...,a disobedient subject has been freed from the shackles of ogini... "

"How is that possible..? Lord Chaka ask, shock stinge in his voice..

"I do not know, but i feel the presence of something extraordinary... "

"Could it be the work of Hakundad...?

"Even Hakundad wouldn't dare..."She said.. "This is why i called you here.., you must send out word, whoever this person is, he or she must be found..."

"There are thousands of people living in Zulugua...and many of them has been afflicted by ogini, how do we find the one that escaped...?

"Your father, Samualie the great wasn't bestowed with the honour of greatness by asking silly and irrelevant questions..."

Lord Chaka quickly frown by her statement... "I will do what i can do.. "

"Not just doing what you can do.., you understand the calamity that will befall you and the people of Zulugua if this escapee is not found..."

Lord Chaka bug his lips..

"Your father, Samualie the great understood this very well.., he knew the fear of ogini was the beginning of greatness and longevity.. "

"Longevity...!, He chuckle.. "My father is dead, am the king.. "

"His greatness lives on O-king...., Ogini is no respecter of men, Obey Ogini and you shall be safe, disobey and suffer the consequences... "
