So much punishment has been meted out by the market on some people here that they must make sure others receive pain by fire by force

That is what makes someone a man. At least I know that Chams will give 3k and that dividend will entice people in. So, I took the risk and of course, it paid off. The Fidelity that I bought that has all the fundamentals is still returning loss to my portfolio. At times, if you cant beat them, you simply join them. I have still not forgiven myself for missing out on Diamond.

@aremo, you are not at fault. The Nigeria economy is heamorrhaging. Blood is being taken from NSE to resuscitate the ailing economy

Got u sir. They may be right , but to time the mkt get as it be ..am just using that lil experience to average down before /after div pymt

CHARTS DON'T LIE

We need to control our emotions. I just observed that charts don't lie, most of the time we see a chart telling us something and then we do another. How can I convince myself that UBA/Afriprud will still fall in price today looking at the price on Friday

However, the charts/indicators are saying wait!!!, but just keep the items in your watch list and enter at a particular price later. The only consolation is that at this point risk of further downtrend in some equities is minimal, Brent crude above USD70 will make "MSCI and gang" likely to continue picking up some stocks.

For me if the bull fails to show up, it is pens up for me, temporary stoppage of putting more money in the market.
